The most hated knife you own.

Kershaw skyline. I just can't stand the wimpy lockup and the extremely stiff pocket clip. The bevel was also pretty ugly out of the box. Love the ergonomics though. If a skyline was made to tighter tolerances and with a better steel and maybe a little thicker blade and handle I would be in love. Wouldn't mind paying top dollar for something like that.

I don't know if I hate it, but I'm having a hard time warming up to the Buck CSAR-T I bought a few months back.
The rough G10 makes it hard to remove from my pocket and the lock is like a bear trap to disengage.

I had the same issues too with mine, i gutted the clip and use it as a camping knife..... if you split some 2x4 sized pieces of wood i looses up that lock, at least it did for me

as far as most hated knife, don't own one, the ones i don't like i mod to fit my appeal & if i still don't like i sell it or give it as a gift, works every time:cool:

Seems like people dont like the Skyline.... Thats reassuring, seeing as how im buying one :D

I hate the boker magnum bulldog. Looks just like this haha

The most hated knife I own would be the Spyderco Caly 3.5. Not hated by me, mind you, but by mountain lions all across the lands.

I wonder how many people have stabbed mountain lions with Spydercos. I know of at least two stories where a Spyderco fended off a mountain lion.

Hmm, I sold most of my cheap/impractical/illegal to carry knives over the last few months, so I'd say my little Camillus boot knife. Ie had it for a long time, really like the knife, and can't carry it thanks to Texas' stupid knife laws (oh, two pistols and 75 rounds of ammo? No problem! 3" double edged knife?! To jail with him!).....

What I've started doing with my hated knives (the ones I wouldn't expect to get anything for in a sale or trade) is using them to open tin cans.

I lost my SAK recently, which had my only working can opener on it, so I had to use SOMETHING....

Are mountain lions like attracted to spyderco carriers or something? I'm half surprised one hasn't ambushed me on the streets of Pittsburgh yet with all the stories I've heard. Wasn't the temperance 2 designed to fend off mountain lions or something?

Most people love it. This is the most hate I've seen on the Skyline. I've owned 8 (currently 6, gave 2 away) and the only problem is that the clip is tight and wears my jeans down

I don't hate your knives. I dislike the company (hate is too strong a word). Ernest Emerson always struck me as a bit of a Gaston Glock type individual. He is a smart guy who developed some excellent designs, but refuses to evolve his designs because he is convinced of the perfection of his design.

What changes should Glock make to his design? What advances have been made in handgun technology in the last decade? 2? 3? Obviously EE and GG are doing something right, they are both very wealthy and GG is married to a model nearly a 1/3 his age

I don't know, design a different handgun or design a rifle. Why not, there would be plenty of market for a Glock rifle. Just like how there would be plenty of market for a different EKI knife.

my hated is also a zt 0350 it came to me with the blade rubbing on the side. I havent takin the time to send it in to the warranty dept. Ant i have a problem with the handle length also.
