The most you have spent on a knife

150.00 for a Custom. I would never think of spending more than that for a knife. I suppose I am short sighted but i buy knives just to use and only invest in Land and Gold.

Paid $500 for a Leon Treiber Custom Folder about 6 years ago. Gave it to a good friend as a gift.

most on one knife? Probably emerson commander 160$ ended up trading it and others for a strider SNG at 400$. Didn't spend it one place ya know but I guess you could say that's what I paid for it...

For a Fixed:

$225 for a NWA Sierra Scout

For a Folder:

$110 for a Ritter Mini-Grip, though I think my ZT0200 might have been a little more....

Not much compared to some, I think the most I've spent $135 on a Benchmade mini Hard Tail, ended up trading it for a Kabar Dozier+Benchmade 710. I may have spent more on a SOG back in the 1980's, but it's hard to remember that far back. :)

This is a fun thread - thanks for starting it. I've been watching it since the beginning and have intentionally not posted, because I didn't want to come off as "one-upping" everyone.

In the long run, I guess it doesn't matter so much how much you've spent on a knife as how much enjoyment you've gotten out of it.

Only $150 on a knife, although I am perfectly willing to spend more in the future, as my wife and I are currently paying off most of our debt and are about to buy our first house. But a few years back I spent about $525 on an Angus Trim sword if that counts. I definitely see giving Jerry Busse a few grand in the future.:D

For me its was $570 for my Strider DGG SMF, next in would have to be my XM-18 at a tick over $500.

I'm going more towards customized (semi custom/production) and have purchased a handful of customs.
