The most you have spent on a knife

Deckard was a replicant and didn't even know it!
gawd that pisses me off so much. He was human in the book, and Harrison said he was human as well.

OT-~$770, waited two years and didn't get the knife I ordered. Now I don't pay up front.

$255 for a Busse, which is long since gone.

Prepared to spend MUCH more on a watch, but I think that is still a year down the road.

"I've been watching it since the beginning and have intentionally not posted, because I didn't want to come off as "one-upping" everyone"

Now you have me curious. And I won't think you're trying to one up me, Mr Big Spender at $68

In the long run, I guess it doesn't matter so much how much you've spent on a knife as how much enjoyment you've gotten out of it."

How much was the enjoyment you've gotten out of it worth, in $$$ and cents?:p

BTW, me and the wife just watched Blade Runner for her first time. Deckard was a replicant and didn't even know it! F'n trippy! You ever read any William Gibson.

Never read any Gibson- is he along the lines of PKD? I think PK Dick wrote all his books on acid. They are a little incoherent and out there for me.

The movie Blade Runner though is a classic. Rutger Hauer plays the one of the best villians of all time. How did you like the scene where he squeezes Roddy McDowall's eyeballs out of his head? Intense!

as long as my wifes not reading this, near $400 for a soon to own CRK Umnumzaan.

If she`s reading, 50 bucks for an endura.

Close to $2,500 for an engraved Randall 12-11 Smithsonian Bowie with a center-cut ivory handle and sterling silver furniture.

And I don't measure enjoyment in dollars and cents. But yes, it was worth it.

$130 for my BM 940. Money well spent! Obsessed over it for a month before I could get it! No regrets either! :D

Some real spenders will drop six-figures at Blade and not even blink.
They certainly wouldn't post about it on an open Internet forum though.

I EDC a DDR 5.5" Maxx bowie D2 hollow ground that he made 8 years ago if I'm wearing jeans. I bought it off my frined (nate3993) for $700 who got it from mndart . I have used it as a machete in my wife's yard.

CM... This one you received is a very early DDR Madd Maxx.

My bid spend is on my DDR damascus Monster Maxx. $3k +++. I cannot recall the exact amount.

It is an amazingly strong yet very sharp knife. It's developing a nice patina.

I haven't decided if I am ever gonna USE it....

I paid $300 for a Cold Steel Arc-Angel Double Edge, and just bought another Spear Point for $250..

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

For me - let's just say that I have knives that are individually worth substantially more than the car I drive or that it was more $ than a sane person would spend on a knife. :D.

Naw, I don't buy it....

If he really was a replicant, then why wasn't he physically as strong as the other replicants?
Even Priss kicked his butt!

Anyway...
The most I have ever paid for a knife was about $400.00 dollars for a Sebenza.
I later sold it and got back a little more than half that, and I swore that i would never pay that much for a production folder again.
