The mystery is history! The Official Busse Grab Bag Pics Thread

Mammoth tooth is like a grail thing to me. I've never had it, but someday I want it and I almost don't even care what kind of knife it's attached too. Lol!

Without having to scroll through allllllll the pages again, has anyone else received a BT6 with Tequila G10?

I want to have a nice leather sheath made for my steak knife and take it to fine restaurants on the rare/special occasion that I go out for a nice steak! It would enhance the experience... I'm never happy with the steak knife they bring me! (Plus wifey said she'd be ok with it so that's a bonus) :D

Among steak aficionado's this is commonplace. Why trust your fine steak to another mans knife?

The blue one below rides with me to most dinners out. Just today we went to the local apple orchard for their annual fall kick-off and one of my simple pleasures in life is carving up a good apple, so it went with us there as well.

How about scrolling back one page.
There is one right there.

I think I have seen 2-3? Not sure though.

Im scrolling thru all the pages, trying to find out what blades/how many, people got on their 3LB bags

Those steak knives ooze class. Definitely a blade only a knife nut should be allowed to handle. Otherwise it might end up in the dishwasher:eek:

I'm pretty sure Elmax and INFI are dishwasher safe.
Probably not the mammoth tooth so much though.

I went on a camping trip a few weeks ago and left my SOB LE out for cutting limes at the drink table. A while later I see one of my buddy's scrubbing the blade with the rough scotchbrite type of a kitchen sponge......lengthwise. GAAAHH!!!

So in other words, it depends on the dish washer ;)

In Tennessee, we'd say "Well, bless his heart!"

NYC translation: "What a f*$#%*g idiot!"

IT'S HERE!!!!!!

Only took a month, the majority of which neither USPS or Australia Post had any idea what was going on with it, but anyway:

Swamp Warden in hammered silver (sharpened by Alex) - very cool but not a good fit for me so sold to a mate who is known here :)

SYKCO 311 in camo (by Dave) - pleasantly surprised how much I like this little knife

Battle Grade Anniversary Mean Street (by Beef) - absolutely thrilled with this. An AMS was high on my 'hoped for list' for the grab bag and to get camo and G10 was a real bonus

Steel Heart Ergo (by Beef) - I can see why folks like the ergo handles. This is one seriously solid piece. Unsure if it's a keeper at the moment but a heck of a knife either way.

A closer look at the AMS. I love the patterning of the G10:

The steak knife is the best apple slicing knife... PERIOD!!!
I live in the Coulee region of the Midwest, that little knife slices into some of the best apples

So is this the one that was MIA?

Yep. Appears it may have got caught up in strike action by our Customs people. Doesn't explain why neither postal service could explain where it was, but it's here now and that's what matters.

Oil's well that ends well...that's what they say in Texas! ;)
