The new Case Bose teardrop

In this video, Tony Bose talks about new Case Teardrop model, even shows it, but not clearly and not for long. :( Most of the chat is about the lockback whittler. Anyone have a link to more info about the teardrop? Is it one of the collaborations, or a new "standard" model that Case will be selling? I'd love to see some pics. Many thanks in advance.

Actually, looking at the video now (on a computer instead of on my phone), I realize that you CAN see the teardrop there. Still, I'd love to learn more about this cool-looking knife.

I'm really dying for this one. I believe it comes out in April and is going to be in amber bone, pocket worn red bone and ebony. Really hoping for a two blade in CV but not sure what the blade steel is.

Right! This Teardrop certainly sparks my interest, first CASE knife in a while to do so.

Those handle choices, Amber, PW Redbone and Ebony are all excellent. Can't wait for this pattern.

Very classy looking. Have to say I'm intrigued. I don't usually have a draw to Case knives, other than the Bose collabs. So, including the Wharncliff lockback whittler and this tear-drop knife, I may be giving Case more of my money this year.
 
Good timing, I was just trying to decide who I would approach for a custom version of this pattern. I would love to try it out in production or 'mid-tech' form first. Sweet!
 
I hope, and actually do believe, that it is going to be a regular production item, like the TB sowbelly and small saddlehorn are.
Should be around $60 for standard slabs and $90 for stag (I hope!).
 
Give me CV or give me, well, not death but...

I am really looking forward to this one. Hoping for CV. I've been planning on picking up some Bose CV knives again.

Yes, it will become a regular pattern, like the Sway Back Jack / Gent varieties. So it may eventually come to CV.
 
I saw some on their facebook page. It was posted to their page by a fly fishing company or something like that I believe.
 
I am really looking forward to this pattern. I pre-ordered one of the SHOT show single blade tear drops in ebony, it was priced like regular line Case knives. I'll probably go for the amber bone first when it comes out.

Resurrecting this thread with an update...looks like amber and PW old red bone, ebony, and stag in 1 or 2 blades are trickling out there. Unfortunately from what I can see it looks like only SS for now, thought that might not stop me from getting the amber single blade. Just a great pattern.
 
Single blade barehead is my first choice, but so far only the amber bone is available. I'd sure like to see some other covers, and also a CV choice or two.
 
I think I'm going to have to make an exception to my moratorium on new knives ......
