I'm voting for the 9 because I don't know what's out there, and I'm thinking if there are big critters I want to have a bigger knife.

I don't help that I've never been to Arkansas.

I went with my 9 in the last thread, and I'm stickin' with it here.

After the new Machax is released, I may change my tune, but I'm stickin' with personal experience, so it's still the 9 for now.

Looks like the BK2 is kicking some butt.

Thats the blade I went with although I love the Bk7 just as much....

I went with the 9 because I find it quite versatile. However, if the Reinhardt Kukri was an option I would have gone with that. Never used one but I imagine it's a beast...

I voted for one of these two but I ain't sayin' which...

30 days, backcountry, the choice would have to be a knife that can cover alot of ground, not weigh you down, and fulfill needs from fine carving, to heavy lifting. There are alot of BKT's that fit that order. :D

Moose

BK2.
Of course a Camptweener might change my mind...

I would have picked the 13 but I think there might be bugs down there bigger than that.

I voted BK2, because its the only one I have at the moment, but I also have seen what it can do....and I think that it can do a lot of what I need it to.

BK6 all day every day. If I've gotta spend 30 days in the backwoods you can bet that I want to make my shelter in as little time as possible so I can get started on fire/water/passive food gathering.

Just my 2 cents.

Went with the 9 solely on my preference for a longer blade for wood processing over 30 days. Wouldn't be a bad thing if all you had was the 2 though. Either way you would be well prepared.

I'm not surprised to see the 2 so far out in front, but I am a bit surprised to see the 7 and 9 neck and neck.

Where is the option for "I don't care"?
I believe it's over in Whine & Cheese. May I suggest you start your own thread there and include it?

My answer would depend on whether I get any other cutting implement.
With an axe or saw, I'd go with the BK10 Crewman or the "BK12" Ritter/Becker Perseverance.
Otherwise, I'd go with the 9. Always the 9.

On an emotional and sometimes practical level, my old Brute. Even though the S.O.B. would probably drown me if I fell out of a boat. On a practical level, with yes, some real fondness, the BK-2. I don't know how anyone could handle one without appreciating it.
