I voted for my old Camillus BK-7. It's the only big Becker I have but I think it's highly underreated. Seems to be well though of going by the poll though.

BK6. I want to be able to chop down all manner of everything as efficiently as possible. I'd take the Reinhardt Khukuri if that was an option though.

While I keep the 2 in my car at all times, I think the jack of all trades, master of none 7 would be my choice.

Have not had the oppportunity to handle them all - yet

But, if I only had one - Bk7

Still need a 9 and a 2

I went with good old Brutus, Big, Heavy, and slow. Just like me. But it just keeps on ticking. Chops good, Batons Good, Skinning not so good, Works quite well as an improvised draw shave. Good for woods related self defense. It's like a sharp steel teddy bear for me.

#2 in line might be My new BK 12, just because I'm curious.

Thats the hardest decision I have made all day.Really torn betwen the 9 and the 2 ended up pickin the 9.

I initially thought the "jack of all trades" BK 7 would be the ticket, but I'd have to go with the 9 now after using it all summer. Just so damned handy for wood processing and nimble enough for the smaller stuff. You can always find a portion of blade that's still shaving sharp regardless of how much you've done with it.

i voted for the nine, i've always been a fan of "a big knife can do the job of a little knife but a little knife can't do the job of a big knife".

I think there would be alot more BK-12 votes if more people owned them. I own a 12, 2, 7 and 9. BK-12 gets my vote I think it is the most useful.

I voted for my 7 as it's been my go to blade since I got it. I have been looking at the 9 12 and recently the 10 to replace it maybe. 10&12 because the smaller blades would be much more useful, and the 9 because the main use for my 7 is batoning and some chopping. How does the 12 compare in those terms against the 7?

BK12 edit: It's price tag is enough to steer me away. Not that I believe it's not worth it. It's just that with customs fees and everything I could buy 2 bk2s.

Looks like if you own a BK2, BK7 and a BK9 then you are set to go.....

Well I'm good how about you

Considering all the new folk out there, thought it might be good to see where everyone stands.

I would have picked the Brute, until I got a Machax. Convexed the thing just amazes me with chopping ability. I am not surprised the 2 is in the lead, it is the cheapest entry into the bigger Beckers, 1/4" thick and is near invincible, Heck that's why I bought it at first too.
If I had to grab things 4,1,10,2 in that order.

BK12 for me, though my 2, 7, or 9 would work great also. It seems to balance the best and take a finer edge, plus the Azwelke sheath rocks!
