Definitely, if you're looking purely at the materials and labor the prices are really high

. $850 MORE for the dressed up knife means $600 for the MOP. If you've bought any of these materials for machining or what not, you know that's high. Then, of course, you're paying full retail for the base price (essentially the damascus blade is $230 more than the 154CM?

). Lastly, the knives aren't made by Ernie (or so I presume) so the premium price is mostly for design, but I'd think that was already covered by the base price, no?
 
After adding up the options I want, the price is out line with the rest of the industry! I think I will wait and see if the comman sentiments results in a lowering of the prices. I could see paying the price for the Mini-7 type knife if it was modeled after the CQC-5. I think, I am better off trying to find a CQC-5! Dick
 
Thanks for the heads up Derek. I was very impressed with the new site until I saw the prices on the customized productions! OUCH!! They're out of my league.
Nice looking knives though, oh well.

well, after seeing some of the prices the customs go for, they probably thought they could get away with it.
