You use them or just collect? Are these the type stoves that you screw a propane canister into?

None of them are propane, they are white gas, kerosene, or alcohol. Have to prime them, etc. I have used a few, but mostly I get them running, then they collect dust.

Sounds like my old Case knife collection about 30 years ago. I had over a hundred Case knives, that just sat on my fireplace mantle, collecting dust.

Thanks man. I got that at a local antique store for $65. The one I just bid on, went for $166. Better shape than mine, but still. An even earlier model went for $225.

I’ve collected knives, guns, watches and even flashlights throughout my lifetime. I had too many hobbies and not enough money. So now, I’m down to what I use. If I don’t use, wear, shoot, or carry it, mostly likely it’s going to get sold.

I bought a military stove for $50. I had no clue what was. Turns out, it's a rare prototype stove. I've had 2 offers for $1500, and one for $1600.

It'll keep going up in price though. I'll probably eventually sell most of them though.

Cross Timbers Bison just dropped the goods on my porch yesterday. Eight packs of ground Bison and four packs of ribeye Bison steaks. I just need to take a moment and contemplate.....

That cast iron skillet is hard to beat, but an oak wood fire comes pretty close.

I got some YELLOWSTONE cast iron fringe pans from Walmart last year. $25 bucks a pan. Kept two, gave two to the "Evil Step Mother". (ITS TRADITION TO ALL THEM EVIL! And traditional to call step mothers evil!) She has a real wood stove ifor cooking in her kitchen.

Spent 10 days under canvas in southern Mississippi, was 86 when I packed out yesterday, 72 when I stopped for a 2 hour nap just south of Joplin at 2, and 42 when I pulled into my drive at 7:45.
Currently up to 45.
