I've only seen eagles eating fish around my area. They are really active during the salmon runs. I keep ducks and have had issues with them killing and eating my ducks. We had one taken a couple weeks ago. The owls around here, great horned, also have taken some at night.

We have residential raptors that don't migrate. I'm surprised that some of the smaller Falcons (kestrels) don't. We get some pretty nasty colds spells that could freeze them but they manage.

Do y'all have any favorite USA-source for velcro patches? I have a couple new organizers for the new pack, and each one has a 2"x3" velcro mount. I'd like a First Aid Kit patch of some kind for one, and something just visible for the other so it doesn't get put down and overlooked.

I've already got a BFC WSS patch for the main pack.
 
It's been so long ago since I've purchased a patch, that I can't even remember where I got them from, haha. Old age is a bitch.

It's been ages since I bought one...usually end up getting free one's now and again. I usually just go on Etsy and try to support a "small" business. Ebay if that doesn't work out.

I did that!
Added some things to my cart and it said they'd ship in 2 days from Thailand...
No shade on Thailand, I order my pedal enclosures drilled and painted to spec from Tayda.
But I just went back to the River Store and got a couple overnight from the local rainforest warehouse. Oh well.
 
Seems like it's windy here everyday anymore. Didn't used to be like that.
 
Had big storms rolled over us yesterday about the time I got off work.
Lucky for me, I had to stop and get a flat fixed. Instead of driving into it all
Hour and a half later, I got home to a yard still covered in hail and hail drifts on the north and south sides of the house.
