The new Strider PT CC

This very well could be my first strider. I prefer smaller knives for carrying. As long as I can get 4 fingers on it?

With the choil, you shouldn't have any problems. I can get four on it without the choil and I wear a medium glove.

Using the choil I can get a 3 1/2 finger grip. Main thing is it feels comfortable. If I don't use the choil, the grip is not comfortable to me.

I am really liking the orange scaled pt they have at gpknives, but they are sold out right now. I have never handled a cc version, I tend to like rounded handles better since they are more comfortable to use. However, I am very scared of losing the knife if the scales are slick. I wonder if the regular version with the textured g10 (clip removed) would stay in your pocket better. I don't like the clips on strides, they make the knife ride too high.

You can always carry it like a traditional, in a folded in half handkerchief. I sometimes use a static cord in the lanyard hole looped on to my belt. You can also add a spot of grip tape to the scale and it stays put in the pocket.
