The NEXT SALE

I could go for an HDFK with a 90-degree spine. Either that or a UFK with similar. I've found that on the knives that I use most, the 90-degree spine is a welcome thing to have, but I'm not set on one.

I am eagerly awaiting the next sale, however, as I would love to own one (or more) CPK knives.

15-20 pieces of miscellaneous inventory, Friday Feb 5th. "Hard Thin" Field Knives and a few Behemother choppers and a couple DEK1

There will also be a few DEK1 in both Delta 3V and AEBL

Sales are at 3:00 eastern time.

Out in the main sale area here: https://www.bladeforums.com/forums/for-sale-fixed-blades.754/

I am intrested in a HDFK. Would be my first CPK. How much these things go for?

Thank you.

The HDFK was a great pattern. I think they sold for $380. They're not currently in production and sometimes knives become more expensive on the "secondary market".

We're going to produce a "Super Duty" field knife later this year.

The HDFK was a premium pattern with a lot of nice detail and finishing and given a shallow S hand grind. The SDFK will be somewhat more affordable.

OK had no idea they were no longer produced. OK well looking forward to the Super Duty.

We're a small knife company. Just four people. We're not able to produce all of our patterns at once nor can we keep a lot of shelf stock. So we tend to do a run and then move on to the next thing. We're developing the ability to run two patterns in parallel and our batches have grown where we can stage a number of serial patterns in queue and release in parallel. For example we're releasing DEK1 and the standard Field Knife (FK2) now and a fun little sprint run of daggers and shipping the sword pre-orders all at the same time. There are even a few 12" choppers in there. The FK2 is about to enter the "out-of-production" group of knives that aren't technically retired but are not available while the new Kepharts will be shipping by summer. We're significantly ahead of schedule on the DEK1 and Kephart pre-order schedule but very late on the swords. We're going to release an inexpensive "made-for-amazon-distribution" field knife, an SDFK, the Kephart and start on the new Utility Fighter all in 2021 so our capacities are trending upwards but you'll never see a large inventory or wide selection here because we tend to sell our work as we make it.

Great to hear! I'm going to order my new UF as a DEF. Do you have a guess to when the UF preorder will kick off?

If we have one, it would probably be in about a year.

We won't do pre-orders on all of these patterns, but we probably will on the UF2 because it will be a signature piece.
