Very surprised that only 32 spots out of the available 40 have filled out on the CPK-FK preorder list thread, 4 of which are from those who may or may not have their preorders fulfilled depending on Nathan's discretion as those are from registered user members of the BFs. Of course the use of the word "only" may sound factitious but some of those who missed out out on the Friday Sale and also wanted multiples, are still sitting on the sideline. Geeet it done, slackers! :D
 
But that instant gratification, the thrill of the chase, the glory of the kill, I understand why so many people wait for the sale :)

Watch his first post on this thread, and his sig, that is where he updates it. I wouldn't expect him to do so till the work week begins. My guess, FKs!

I'm waiting for the weekly sales based on my prior success with the LC sale and the fact I can't afford to pre-pay for a knife that I may not get for a couple months. Would rather compete in the weekly sales once I can actually afford the FK.

Nothing wrong with that! Worst case you get it in hand and don't like it; I am 100% sure you put it on the exchange for break even and sell it near instantly and get your money back within a week of paying.

I know it would fill a gap, I just don't have the cash right now thanks to splurging on the LC, custom knives aren't Beckers, they cost a bit more so it's harder to impulse buy.

Hopefully you feel like the LC was worth the money and serves to save you money in the long run! Maybe it even displaces some knives you have now that can be sold to help pay for the FK. For me, the CPK patterns are definitely causing the sale of other knives.

Had to wait till I got back in town to update my user subscription. Hopefully I didn't get bumped out!!
 
I would be happy if I could get my hands on a Heavy Chopper...I like the Field a lot, and would use it. But that heavy Chopper...that's the one I need. Any chance of a sale of those?

There are a few prototypes out in the wild, keep an eye on the exchange for them, but don't hold your breath. Nathan decided not to proceed with the pattern.

If it makes you feel better, Nathan mentioned there would be something larger than the LC coming, no idea when, but not as heavy as the HC. I think of it conceptually as a medium chopper. Hopefully someone else will come up with a better name.

I'm broke and won't be working for s few weeks due to the arrival of a new family member. So..... I won't have extra anything for a while. Otherwise I'd have been all over that list.
