I do have my original, but am very excited to try this d3v. And it looks like I'll be missing out on this week's sale, so ya, anxiously awaiting preorder list fulfillment :)
 
I'll be up early again (part of the World I'm in) this week to try and snag a FK. I have to go this route as I'm not a paid up member. The pre ordering may work in my favor as it looks like paid members have gone that option. Fingers crossed. Looking forward to seeing pictures of them out in the field as they filter out of the shop and into your homes.

Better late than never. And it looks like Nathan's getting the numbers up with 10 FKs last week and 10 FKs this week, so it might not be that far out. Plus, this particular one should be right in your wheelhouse for breaking down elk :thumbup:

Good luck this week. Looks like I'm going to miss this sale with work again. Eventually I hope I can lock down a field knife in the forest green g10, and it's going to take a sale score to do it unless I can talk Nate into selling me an extra set.

Oh and you may or may not know this already Mt. B, but you don't have to go gold to get in on the preorder. I think Basic memberships are like ten bucks for the year, and you get storage for a few private messages which is what Nate's concerns were, the communication aspect. So, for all intents and purposes of the preorder, for ten bucks you're golden :)

I got the feeling that for every 10 which Nate is offering for sale on any stated Friday, he's actually producing an extra handful or more to catch up with his preorders in a reasonable length of time. You gotta lurve this Couple. Very hard workers, very high ethics and great quality products :thumbup:
 
He has stated that he will try to do 5 knives per week to go to the pre-orders. So for the 40, there probably a 8 wk wait. Although he is upping his game and hope that he can do 1-2 more knives per week for the pre-order. He is also keeping it going.
Probably wants to see the effect of the pre-order on the friday sales.
And a couple weeks away from the first EDC's...great news. Trying to save the funds for the edc...

Yes, I am the second on the preorder list and I have received the tracking ID of my FK. It is on its way home from half way around the whole now.

Wishing fortunes to those who're going for a Field Knife today. Remember if your page is still trying to "Post Quick Reply" refresh @ 15:00:10, it'd probably be too late to score one successfully :eek:
 
Today ought to be a lot more leisurely now that we have the pre-order thread.

I am going to have a new sheath color option on the sale thread. There will still be black Kydex, but there will also be some in coyote brown.

I figure that was at least 15 seconds. Probably double the time it had been taking. I think that means a lot of the pressure has been reduced.

Time to retire the pattern? I was thinking about getting into spoons. *nod*
