Maybe I'm wrong but I hope lots of people get thier first regardless! Big sales tend to draw out many new faces some of some I've never seen post in the forum. A lot more people reading than there are writing, many of whom tend to win on first or second try.
 
I know that I'll give it a shot on November 11th. Saw a couple vids on YouTube of the field knife. Looks like such a useful blade. I love slicey knives!
 
I was fortunate to score a FK from a retailer and an EDC from a friend here. Still looking for a LC.

If you don't mind me asking; Which retailer had a FK?

The LC should be fairly straight forward in the near future when they go up on Friday sales again. Nathan has a bunch of them in the works and the last sale lasted 2 minutes, so I think you will soon be completing that trinity!

Then the SK will come out, and you will need one more. :D
 
How does one participate in scoring a light chopper? I watch the video on this knife and I am highly impressed. I was sold on an extrema ratio parang but I gotta say this particular knife it's just flat-out awesome!

Wait for a light chopper sale to come around, and follow the instructions on post 1 of this thread (they're changed for each new sale).

Thanks for the information. Since you can't message here unless you're a gold member can you still buy one of their knives?

Light Chopper sale might be after the Field Knife!! So a couple weeks! I can't wait :thumbup:
 
I'm not certain how this works. So let's say I'm a paid member and he announces that these knives going to be selling at a particular date and time. I'm going to guess five knives click on the first page or says the knife is for sale then what?
 
You reply saying something to the effect of I'll take one.

You don't have to be a paid member if you are willing to post your email in your reply. If you get one you can work out the details privately.

We could get you up to speed, but it sounds like it might be a wasted effort anyway. As you say, that don't make sense. There's a lot of information in this forum on how to get it done. Just do a bunch of reading first.

This. Read the first several pages of this thread and you'll know the ground rules. I have never scored a knife (when only 5 were for sale) but have been in the top 10, including the first time I ever tried.
