How to buy a knife:

1. go to a sale
2. buy a knife

There are no special membership requirements to buy a knife, that was only for the preorder (which is now closed).

Sales are usually at 3:00 EST on Fridays. Details are kept up-to-date on the first post on this thread.

Be aware that sometimes sales move at a brisk pace.

We're going to have 15 Field Knives this Friday. We'll have some Light Choppers and Racing Choppers pretty soon after that. We're machining a lot of EDCs now that will start to finish up in December. Probably some HD Survival Knives after that. :thumbup:

I'm winding down the Field Knives pretty soon. I need to complete the preorders and perhaps a few more, and they'll be done.

Edit to add: I'll probably sell a couple EDCs at some point soon because I have some blades left over from the "fancy sale" whose scales were scrapped and could get some regular handles.

First I've heard of a "racing chopper". How is it different from the light chopper?

Do you think that'll be as soon as this Friday? I just got the green light from the home finance committee that I could do a little Christmas shopping :D. Since I have an FK purchase covered elsewhere, I'd like to know if I need to be on this sale to try for an EDC... thanks in advance!

Another question about the 11/11 FK sale - will these be colored G10 handles, micarta, will there be any vintage micarta, etc? Also the question above about the possibility of seeing some EDCs.

Just the standard spread, nothing fancy, no vintage etc.

To keep things simple I'll do the EDCs another time.

I messed up and still got in at # 8. According to my 'puter after I entered my post/message and hit Send, it was still 24 seconds past the 15:00:00 Eastern U.S. Time when the page had finally refreshed <shrug>
 
Well, I'm not at all sure how I got in at #2 (first post after NtM). I was just trying to get in, and not synced to any time clock or whatever. Who knows how the interwebs do the voodoo they do!
