I wanted to do something kind of special for the fine folks here on the porch so I decided to give a gift certificate<<<to a GEC dealer of my choice>>> If you live within the CONUS you will receive a $125 store credit if you live outside the CONUS you will receive a $100 store credit and the other $25 will be used to cover your shipping cost.

THE RULES
I want this to go to a regular contributor here on the porch so you must have at least 25 post here in the traditional forum prior to todays date and be in good standing. For the purpose of this GAW I will determine who is or is not in good standing. If you are a knife flipper or a trouble maker I will not count your entry. You must be at least 18 years old and you are responsible for your local knife laws.
This is open to all members (per the qualifying rules) here in the traditional forum regardless of geographical location.

TO ENTER
To enter you must post a traditional knife picture then simply post I'm In and tell us what you like best about the porch. If you can't post a picture for whatever reason state that in your entry and as long as you meet the rest of the criteria you are in.

I will come up with some unique way to select the winning entry. This will run until Saturday September 30 2017 12 noon EST at which time the winner will be selected.

What I like about the porch is the way everyone here seems committed to building and maintaining the community, and it extends beyond the confines of the internet! People exchange gifts, visit one another, meet up, and just share their love and passion for these knives.

I guess traditional folk cherish traditional values.

Ps: edited to add this is a photo of my beloved Queen #49h and also that the porch has helped me immensely in cleaning up my language-funny, but a little tough on a 45+ year old guy, who worked construction and bartender most of his life. This was important because of my now almost 3yr old son.

Really cool of you redden hrmm what I like about the porch? I think it has to be the kindness here and the generosity it speaks volumes about the people here.
