We have been hounded for years to start an official Busse Knife Collector’s Club. We have never answered this demand due to the enormous amount of time involved in organizing and coordinating such an effort. Marc Fratello (the Busse Custom Shop Director), has really put the push on for organizing such a group and has presented us with a very good plan. Having discussed this to great lengths with him, we are now very excited about the idea of such an organization. There is little doubt that this group already exists so coming up with sufficient perks and offers will make it just that much more fun. I often take calls from new customers who remark on what a great group we have on our forums and what a good time everyone seems to be having. I couldn’t agree more. Marc is looking for as much feedback as he can get in finalizing this plan and we look forward to hearing from as many of you as possible with your thoughts and ideas. So, feel free to either post them here, or email Marc privately at marc@bussecombat.com .

I think that we should have our own beer, handshake, and special decoder ring! ;)

Any of us who have seen "A Christmas Story" know full well, when we use our Decoder Ring "Our special message for Jerry himself" might only read "Buy More INFI" or "Drink More CBL" but what the heck. In for a Penny in for a Pound.

Do we get to vote on the Official Busse Collectors Edition Beer? Or did CBL win already?

I think this is well overdue Jerry! Kootoes to Marc for getting it moving.

What about;
- 'yearly peices marked as such'
- 'special run of T-shirts/caps'
- 'member certificate' (I want No 13!);)
- 'logo design competition for the Busse Collectors Club'

I could go on forever, but to excited! The beer has got me going baby! Yeah!

I am stealing your idea Jerry ;) but make the first BCC knife the folder with a nice laser engraved logo and membership No. placed in the micarta slabs...oops! Did I say micarta!

The decoder ring got me. When I was a kid I had a Captain Midnight decoder ring, and had to wait until the end of each program to find out what the secret message was.
Oh goody, now we can send each other secret messages!!

Seriously, this is a great idea.
For a reasonable yearly fee, you become a member, which entitles you to:
Purchase a Busse Club Knife issued at least once a year. Randall has one. Why can't we?
The Club Knife could be a version of one of Jerry's older Knives.
A Busse Club Patch.
A Busse newsletter.

Another thought:
How about a Busse "coffee table" Book depicting the history of Jerry, from the beginning ( not from when Jerry was born, just when he started making knives
:D ;) )with lots and lots of pics.
This book obviously would not be an exclusive to the club.
It would be available at all book stores and on the web(Amazon,B&N, etc.)
Where and when do I sign up.
