The OFFICIAL Busse Knife Collector's Club !!!!!

i think it would be cool, say if busse took a knife like the AD and made limited runs of tricked out handles. offered to the club members first. say 25 of each style every couple of months. members could join the club with a small fee and recieve a member number on a dog tag. members would get notified first and have first shot.

or he could make a different grind on a model, or a whole new model.

kind of like all the different MS's out there, different variations of a model, first shot goes to the members...

good or bad idea???
 
How's about that secret stash of ZT blanks get an " Exclusive Club member grind, with each member's number" released for sale only to members.:D:D:D That would be HOG heaven!

The only problem I have is do you know how hard it is to find CBL in So. Fla.? Used to be the same way with Coors. Oh well,the search continues.

How about a "challenge coin" made of INFI with camo-dude engraved/stamped on the front and the BKCC logo & motto (whatever they turn out to be) on the back. It could even be in the shape of a knife. ;)

Of course, I already have my asymetically-edged INFI challenge coin with me 24x7. It's called an Assault Shaker. :eek: :D

BTW, what's the official BKCC drinking song gonna be???

I would like an AD with a five inch blade, and I wouldn't mind a INFI plate, say 5inches tall by 3inches wide, with the words Busse Combat and INFI punched through........
 
Wilco, I was just thinking the same thing. An AD with a 6 or 7" blade, possibly with a larger handle, would be the ultimate fighting knife. That would certainly end(probably not for some) the debate over "the best fighting knife". CR, Randall,etc. step aside, THE ULTIMATE FIGHTING KNIFE has arrived. I don't think that there is a steel out there that could compete with INFI!!! :cool:
 
I like that idea as well Ang. I wouldn't even mind it in 5.5, but no longer, because that is the legal limit in Texas, and I want to be able to carry this think!

Hats! And nice ones too, like a real baseball hat, not the big puffy tall ones with mesh in the back that look terrible. How about a Busse Pin as well that you could put on a jacket or a bag?

in fact how about a Busse Bag? Kind of like a shooting duffel bag, keep your knives in one, have another to take to the range.

Or a Busse wooden presentation box, with Busse Combat frosted into the glass lid?

How about Busse O's? The cereal of champions?:D :D :D

I think we're forgetting a very important accessory to maintain status or harmony with the Busse-ligeon.

A Busse Combat beer pint glass to drink of the sweet nectar that is Carling.
 
Count me in.... though I would offer the idea that joining this club ought to include those of us without limited funds. For example try to include discounts on Knives, less expensive blades made availabel first like the skeleton key, and related gear. Just making another knife I can't afford would suck!

oh, don't forget to make some t-shirts in a size large, not sure what you boys are eating, but XXXL, c'mon!
 
I have to agree with Mtnclimber69. Whatever the deal is, it should be so that even Busseholics of the most modest means can participate. I don't know how you would work it, but I am sure it could be done.
 
I agree with Mountain Climber and Progunner. I think the Club should be for those of us with modest means as well as the hardcore HOGS.

Given the history Busse has with the warriors who guard our freedoms, for a hat I suggest a BDU cover (black, camo, khaki, OD, navy, or appropriately "steel grey") with a subdued color-coordinated BKCC patch sewn on the front. Hi-speed, lo-drag, dead-on.

How about a hat like this one, except we could use a hog and stick a Busse in his jaws.

I also think a challenge coin is a cool idea!
