The Official FrankenBecker Mod-Off (here we go)

Clich - do you want this back so you can beat it up and get some glamor shots before posting the poll, or would you rather I hold onto it and ship it to the winner?

This thread is awesome! It makes me want to mod my BK2 now, hmmm... And I just got it yesterday. haha
Great work though guys! Really cool ideas!

it's never too early to mod bro! I was modding on my 2 almost as soon as I unboxed it LOL. Got my 9 in yesterday and I've already took the thumbramp off.

OK, it's been an odd day and i'm an idiot.
Day started out with a blizzard

It was, wasn't it? 70-something yesterday and snowing this morning. I was really confused when I looked out the window this morning. The weather around here is Schizophrenic!!!!!

OK, it's been an odd day and i'm an idiot.
Day started out with a blizzard - so i couldn't do any dirt work outside, which means i finally had some time to work on the sheath more.
My truck is on the shop - so I took SWMBO to work, fried up a couple pounds of bacon and made a pit of coffee -- then SWMBO called to tell me the office had no power, so she was going shopping with a friend.
I started sewing up the pouch - and sewed the welt inside out.
About the time I figured this out, it was done and I didn't feel like cutting it apart & resewing it -- so I glued it on and tacked all 4 corners down as well.
Now the Frankenbecker has a monster front pouch. (almost tall enough to stack a pair of altoid tins)

One other thing - the stonewash finish is cool, but it's a rust magnet -- I can give it a coat of wax and send it home or I can blue it and send it home -- whaddaya think Clich?

p.s. Dubs -- a cheap rifle sling would hook up to those D rings for a pretty snazzy "Dundee" carry.... not that i tested it o0ut or anything...

I can also vouch for the retention on this bad boy. It's solid! Great job, Vik!

Very cool Vik send it back to me so I can check it out. Ill pm you my address in a little.

I am looking forward to some nice pictures once Clich gets it back, looks great everyone.

It's Done! Great work on the sheath 1066vik! Thanks Clich this was a ton of fun to participate in and watch.

That THING is so fugly that you guys should extradite it from US!:D

Send it my way and I'll find the most out of the way, most deserted place to bury it so it can never offend anyone's eyes again! :D
