Hot damn is this thing good! Gorgeous, fits well in my hand, great range of materials and finishes, great flipping action and smooth fall shut closing action. Here she is....

Yeah, they are dope. I want one hella bad. Several other topics about them

Man, all these pics are making me want one pretty badly. I may try to pick one up at Blade if I can.

If you can find one I definitely recommend it. Great product, made by great people. I talk to Eugene a good amount, he's a cool cat.

If that is Eugene who is posting under the Olamic Wayfarer name, I'd have to agree. He's always seemed like a good guy. The one I want has the carbon fiber scales with the...well, with the glow in the dark racing stripe. That is beyond cool.

+2 on that! Eugene is great to deal with! He made a Wayfarer for me exactly the way I wanted it. They're great knives and if you score one, I don't think you'll be disappointed!! :D

CJZ, congrats!!! That carbon fiber with the titanium bolster looks awesome!!!

Met Eugene at the Pasadena Knife show, very nice guy! Got to handle a bunch of Wayfarers, it's amazing how different their personalities can be with just a scale and grind Change. Great ergos, and slightly lighter than you would expect

Yep it's me. CF/glow stripes are a popular combo... we are up to 6 stripe styles now too!

I have two Wayfarers that rule my collection at present, and there will surely be more in future. The most amazing knives are coming from this knifemaking operation at present.

These knives look great. Great materials, awesome style, solid builds and a great price. I just wish they weren't so huge. If OC made a 3" model Id have 3 of em by now.

Hey Eugene,
Do you know roughly how many were made in this configuration with the dual moonglow stripes? I've only seen a couple like mine and they were slightly different, with different blade finishes and steels.

Are the glow stripes referred to as C-Tek strips in some of the descriptions?

Only asking because I WANT ONE!!!!
Heh

c-tek is different, looks like little honeycombs. This stuff is usually called "moon glow"

We have made 8 total with twin glow stripes, only 5 had satin XHP, out of those only 4 had regular grind. They are all from July 2014. How do I know this? Believe or not, I have a file listing every Wayfarer made (based on serial number), specifying when it was made and all details/materials...

Wow, thanks for the info! So I have 1 out of 8 made, cool:D I remember you saying that you had a huge spreadsheet of all the wayfarers made:)

Thanks again:thumbup:

That's awesome Eugene.
Wayfarer is pretty much my next folder purchase. But It's going to take me a while to save up. Maybe the rest of the year or so.
That being said, any cool future plans or things on the horizon? Any new steels / materials / design options coming soon...?
