That's correct its a SwissBianco Pruner .
This is what they look like with the Pruner blade .

But I quickly and easily changed it to a Sheepsfoot which I prefer .

Its a simple mod , and its a great knife with or without it .

Any particular reason why they don't make a red Pioneer anymore? I guess silver is the flavor right now.

Red Pioneers were a std catalog item till a few years ago in Canada so I don't know why Vic doesn't offer them anymore. They produced red Cadets recently so who knows....marketing I guess.

The red Pioneer is still available from a north of the border retail store for $60.00 which I cannot justify considering a black Pioneer with black shield is less than $21.00 and readily available.
