Hi everybody, My names Chris and I live in Souther Washington.

I have a few things things to give away, nothing as fancy as what's already been offered though.

One.
Sog Seal Pup. It bounced around in my truck for a while but I only ever used it once to cut some curls of cedar fence boards. GONE

Two. A Sure Fire aluminum Body. It's a two CR123a light, with a solarfoce clicky tail cap (which won't unscrew) and a solarforce R5 (3v-18v) High Output single mode LC-XP G led. Be careful not to put the batteries in backwards, as I'm not sure that this lamp is protected or not. I believe it's 150 lumen, but I may be mistaken. No batteries included as I have no "live" ones on hand. It's used, but not beat up too bad.GONE

Three. Old "The Fisherman's Solution" by Alcas fillet knife. It's a cutco fillet knife with a blade that adjusts from 6" to 9" The sheath comes apart to become a pair of "pliers" for holing a fish by the mouth and it has a sharpening stone with hook groove built into the back. I remember it riding in my tackle box as a kid but I don't think that I ever used it.

I also have a nice old Woolrich quilted parka with fake fur stand up collar, no hood, that I don't use anymore. The color is navy with a bright red interior and it smells a little like cigarette smoke. It's a size large I believe, I'm a 42 tall in Carhartt and it fits me. I can post a picture with measurements if anyone is interested.

I'm in need of wool socks mens size 10, or fingerless wool gloves size medium, a medium sized Filson coat (beat up is more than okay!), Knives of course! Or a Wii? :D Books are always awesome too! I'm not really looking to 'get' anything out of this except for the opportunity to give. I can even help with shipping costs.

Also, if someone is in actual need of something, it might not be out of the question for me or someone else to purchase something and have it sent your way. So feel free to make requests!

You all are awesome!
-Chris

Chris, I'll take the Seal Pup. I have a black paracord bracelet I can give, but I'll see if I have anything else interesting. I only wore the bracelet a few times.

Edit: Here is the size of the paracord bracelet. Sorry for the not so good picture, I just took it on my iPod. I'll post again if I find anything else interesting :)

Okay. Two items special to me because...

1) Timber Rattler giant novelty knife - This was purchased by a friend of mine and given to me as a gift and they truly thought it was a great find and I could find uses for it. As a show of good will, I insisted that they trade it to me for a spare Blur I had and after carrying and using that Blur, they then began to appreciate how carrying a pocket knife comes in handy every day. It represents friendship and enlightenment and has been a source of smiles whenever I look at it, but it is time for it to move on. As a gag gift or even using it to clean underneath your fingernails when the daughter's boyfriend shows up at the house, I think someone will enjoy it from this point on.

2) *SPOKEN FOR* Bucklite III 426 Orange - Of all the orange knives I have since brought into the "orange" collection, this was really one of the first. It was affordable, it is a Buck and the fact that it was orange was only a triple bonus at that point. Yes, I am an admitted collector and have more than I could use in a lifetime but it makes me happy to have the users in rotation and a few that I simply admire and enjoy owning. If it becomes a user, then so be it. That's what it was meant for. If it sparks another orange addiction then that's great too!

US50 only though, as I cannot send anything needing a customs form and please don't have me send an 11 inch bladed knife to a state that would more than frown upon it. Thanks and enjoy!

These are Shelby extrication gloves I used when I was a firefighter. I don't have much use for them now, hopefully someone can find some use in them. Kevlar palms, reflective piping,

size Medium. The left pointer finger has a little wear on it, but these are excellent gloves that have seen very little use.

A great knife, but it doesn’t fit me, and it is just sitting in my safe. It is a shame that this knife is not being enjoyed by someone who would appreciate it. I would like it go to someone as a user, so bonus karma points to the recipient who posts pics of the knife in use :)

NCCNC, I've been getting into lanyards more recently, so I think I'm going to have to jump on that bead! But of course, now I have to post something in return...

So for paying it forward I have a Smith's Tri-Hone sharpening system. I won't lie to you guys, it's not in like new shape, but it still gives you a sharp edge, so what more can you want? I do kind of have a bond with it but I feel like it needs a new home and some new stories since I've been using it less and less. It's the first sharpening system I ever bought and learned to freehand on and it's seen almost every blade I've ever owned at least once in the past 3 years. It's just collecting dust right now and I really think someone getting into sharpening should have it as a system to start with and learn on, or even just to maintain a good edge for someone not looking to get into Japanese wet stones, diamond stones, or ceramic stones like me. I'll include a bottle of Nathan's honing oil that I've found the stone likes with whoever says "I'll take it."

edited to current 10/3 1400EST have a couple iphone 4/4s MAGPUL "field cases". One's orange and one's black. Used but in good shape of anyone's still usin their old iphone 4 and needs a new case. At $10 new its not worth the money to sell them but I'll gladly cover the shipping if anyone can use one. black one gone, orange one remains

Another thing I have is atleast 2 pairs of black "HK style" metal clasps, used for nylon or paracord straps/slings. I also have a hunter orange double cobra-stitch paracord rifle sling about 30-34" length NON-adjustable with the .22 & shotgun style connectors. If anyone's interested in that I can get the exact length later tonight. sling gone, HK style clasps remainthey're sized for 1" strap but 1.75 fits with the sides folded over[/COLOR]

Edit #3 (I'm finding all sorts of cool stuff around the house): CRYO's GONE!
I have a heavily moddified kershaw Cryo I'd like to offer, again its heavily modded, the TiN coating has been stripped, thumb studs removed, its got a sheepsfoot blade and a notched wave, if it sounds intriguing to anyone I can't host pics but shoot me an email and I'll send you pics (or feel free to claim it sight unseen)

Been eying the cryo for a long time but Ill leave it for someone else :D

Very cool thread!

Anyone else thinking this is the coolest shiz ever??? :D

Keep things coming BF Members, even if you just want to give and not get right now. I want this baby to grow real legs, and a promise there's already more than a few happy folks ready to watch their mailboxes this weekend or next week

BTW, don't give me credit for this. I just pushed the rock over the edge. The avalanche has been from everyone here!

I find it amazing and refreshing that "common" people can still perform charitable acts. Puts to shame all the selfish, greedy people out there who only care about getting their face on Yahoo or snagging that magazine cover.

I have a few trinkets that someone might find useful. They're nowhere near the value of something like a Becker or Spyderco, but they all have sentimental value for me and could definitely find a good home. I have off from work tomorrow, so I'm going to rustle them up from my "knick-knack drawer". I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Keep it going folks!
