I'd like to join the 'game', but have not much to offer (I had a nice sailor's knife which I gave to a very good friend- she was also very fond of laaarge knives so I gave her my WWII german bayonet; a very good friend of mine, a rifle nut, got mechanical parts of a vintage WWII italian rifle, &c)... So, before I join I'd like to see if there is interest in what little I have to offer- leftovers from a curious assembly of items left by my grandfather. This being Bladeforums, I'd like to give a strange(ish) knife- I'd presume it was a sort of workshop excerecise of a sort, a small replica of a kitchen knife in full tang carbon steel with brass bolsters and bronze pins (surely, a one-off, if there ever was one) which was IIRC used as a letter opener, which I took photo of with a packet of 100's fags (not on offer, hahaha) and, if anybody is interested, what I presume to be an original German army issue WWII IMCO lighter in relatively good condition. The knife is in relatively sorrry condition (some corrosion on the blade, dul and tip chipped a bit), some 117mm (4.6") OAL. Both of them have sentimental value (being my grandfather's), I was hoping somebody around here was crazed enough by collecting to get them, in which case I'd be interested in getting a decent folder in here...

As promised, I'm in. I'll start small and work up. First is small on price, but big everywhere else:

Enlan EL-01 black g10/satin blade flipper. For me, this was the cheap, quality flipper that started me on flippers. Don't let the price or origin fool you, there is plenty of YouTube proof these things are very tough, solid users.

New in box! I'd say let's give this to someone who either thinks all Chinese stuff is crap, or has never had a flipper before.

It's a Buck Nighthawk 650. I've had it for a few years but I've hardly used it. I LOVE this knife. Hopefully someone else will want it and like it as much as I do. And unlike me, actually use it.

I have a Ka-Bar Zombie Famine Tanto that i love to look at but ive never used. In the rather large (for a knife sheath) pouch i have put a magnesium fire starter bar a keychain flashlight and two "wet fire" cubes for a little self contained survival action type deal... anyway like i said i have never used it and i always show it off and it feel great in my hand, but for some reason it just doesnt feel like mine (ya know?). I have thought of giving it to some friends but it never came about, so this seems like the perfect place. I know its not the nicest knife and i dont have the box anymore but if there is someone who feels like they need this knife i can make that happen. So, first "I'll take it" gets dibs, then message me or whatever and we will work out the little things.........

Its yours. The light and the modded cryo are going out tomorrow if you guy's will please email me your shipping info I can get them packaged up tonight. The other stuff I have listed on page 2 is still avaliable.

If anyone's feeling generous I'd love to get ahold of either a UKPK or a Boker exkalibur 2 to customize with hand burned wood scales and give to my father-in-law when he comes for turkey day this year, I miss being able to make knives for my father (who died 369 days ago) so I'm wanting to give one to Rick but this year the wife and I are just stretched to thin to be able to afford a knife to customize like I hoped I could.
 
Thanks so much for the Cryo! I have a very lightly used Gerber prodigy fixed blade knife, I love it, just simply no real use for it for me. If I find some other cool stuff I'll definitely return here!

This forum is awesome, I have never been part of a forum with such a compassionate group of people, my wife and I (and our 3 kids and 4 dogs) are going threw some difficult times right now but the next time I have some spare cash I am donating it to support the forums. Thank you all, I have never seen another forum where such a thread would be possible.
