I think I'm going to be putting up another knife, some sharpeners, possibly a bow. I'm thinking someone might have to pay shipping costs if I post the bow; shipping those SAKs ended up at about $50.
I would pay shipping costs for a bow, no joke. Used to do archery competitions in my younger days. That's a great idea! Keeping my eyes peeled

Its ok, the common courtesy is ladies first :D

Im leaning more towards a recurve or longbow and this one is a compound. I never shot a compound bow so its no worries.

I'd like to know how you get those SAKs :) lol

I may have interest in the bow if it is not compound.

STVPourciau,
I had been wondering what I could contribute, since I am so new to knife collecting. I HAVE been into reptiles for a long time, so I have a lot of different things that you may be interested in. I have thermostats, under tank heaters and various other things that might help, as well as filtration for the aquarium(aquaclear filters) Let me know what you need and I will see if I can help. I love the idea of this thread and hope maybe I can help.

John

Thanks so much for the offer. There is a couple of those items (filtration) that I have Interest in but for the most part we've purchased everything, or at least I hope everything that we need.

There is an amazing lack of good information on aquatic turtles out there on the internet. Any any experience tips from someone whose kept a health turtle for long periods would be nice.

I'm an experienced fish keeper and have been treating his water line that of my fish and looking at it from that perspective for health and good quality. I have an established filter medium in with him to keep amonia and nitrites out of the water and conditionjng it with PRIME.

The biggest question in my mind right now is about these sulfa tabs people are putting in their water for turtles to kill bacteria/reduce salmonella, prevent pitting In the shells and deter infection. I feel like the sulfa would harm my beneficial bacteria and thros off the nitrogen cycle in the tank. So are these tabs really nessacary or would keeping the water in ideal conditions mixed with routine water changes/gravel vacumming suffice?

Or is there some real need for bacteria to be killed in a turtle tank?

Email me and we can talk.

Condor, compound, diamond. And maybe one of those door frame pull-up bars. I gave up on ever having a door frame wide enough to support it and focused on my curl bar.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with asking someone to help with shipping costs, if you post something and ask for it upfront. Maybe jimh0220 could weigh in as it is his thread, just my .02

I agree with that. Even more so for a large item.

I agree 100% with this and the statement about being mentioned up front so no surprises! You have to remember what you will be receiving for merely some shipping costs! :)

stvpourciau and Mykel: I scrounged up some more magnets at work for you guys and will try to ship them, plus the colgne, out on Monday before I go for my Army fitness test.

I heard someone wanted my Benchmade pocket clip, but I can't seem to find who it is. Any help there, folks?
it was me. Sorry, I had a busy weekend and wasn't able to get on blade forums until now. I'm still interested in the clip if you still have it. I'll check back tomorrow for your reply.

Hello! I am also looking for a sharpener.. I really want to try Freehand sharpening. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Seriously?? That's an expensive bow! I love my bow, but if that bow were a lefty, I'd pay all the shipping for it.

Wow...I caught up on this thread before church this morning but haven't returned til now. Had 150+ posts to catch up on! So nice to see all the gracious givers & receivers. Happy to be a part of it all!
