Tankerwolf, a question for you. Would you part with the Mark 1 to me, a non Navy member, with the condition that I give, today, a Mark 1 with the black Kraton handle AND a Kabar Short Tanto, both to the same active duty Navy soldier? Both are new.

Let me know if you would do that. If not, that's cool, too.


Regarding shipping: I think on some items, the cost of shipping might be a bit much, and therefore it would be ok to ask the other party to help with shipping. As always, I think this can govern itself. So much generosity here, I'm sure it can be worked out.
BTW, I never imagined the scale of this post! The items given and received have been amazing! Far beyond anything I expected. I guess I underestimated how amazing BF members are. Shame on me.
 
I dont want to take it away from Jim or his intended recepient but my very close friend's (we consider ourselves brothers) little sister just got married last month to an active duty sailor and they are expecting their first child thiscoming May, I would love to give him the kabar mk1 as a wedding/baby gift if there isn't an active duty sailor here who wants it more.

Comes with a sweet leather sheath. Very well made. Just never cold get used to scout carry.

NYOutdoors & Arrowhd listen up I found both of your emails in my junk folder.

OK I'll give up two of my bows NYO way first to respond so he gets first choice.

first bow is a Hoyt carbon plus round wheel compound target bow, red riser pearl white limbs with target sight sold new for $700.00+ not that it's worth that now.

second bow, Hoyt fast flight hunting bow. It was maybe a little less expencive but a great bow it has accompanied me on lots of hunting trips. And has taken several deer and hogs..

both will need new strings and cabels I would suggest you check with local bow shop.

I have cases and extras with each.

go ahead and respond on here so if someone else is intrested they will see whats happing.

Whoa, hold on now! Tankerwolf, don't you dare give that to me! CK's friend would be a better party by far. I vote he get's it, so long as he posts a pic with the bride holding it to the soldier's neck, in true married style!

Jim, of course its up to Tankerwolf but I'm sure he would be happy with yours, that way you can get the one your wanting (you deserve it) and I'll still be able to give him (them) a kabar.

Fish stuff and scale shipped this morning. As far as who gets the Mk1; Jimh, I have no problem with that as long as in the end a service member benefits from it. CK that would be a great gift as well. I would be happy sending it to either one so whatever you guys decide just let me know and I'll be able to make it back to the PO on Wednesday.
