Cereal_killer, it looks like the membership came through, correct? My finances allow me to do that every few weeks or so if i brown bag it more often (which i should do anyway), so it is not the last membership i would like to offer to you crazy people
Yes sir, within the last few minutes! From what other people have told me I'd say a general rule would be 2 business days for gifted memberships to go threw.

Since these guys are being so awesome to me, I'm going to put up some of the things I mentioned earlier.

I have a Condor Sapien. It is loose in the sheath, but only when turned upside down. I'm sure it could be shrunk down. I have no use for it since I have a Condor Tavian, which is an AMAZING knife. My only stipulation is that it go to someone who has never owned a Condor, who doesn't have a decent fixed blade, and who has either contributed to the thread or is a young person in need of a field knife.

I also have two DMT stones, one coarse, and one fine. Blue/coarse, red/fine. The red one has a screw where the pin used to be but it works just fine. I'll post pics in a sec.

Hey Chris - that was a one time offer to RemyKaze, sorry if i wasn't clearer. You have given a ton to the thread, so any interest in a big CRKT tanto? This is the best pic i can get if it right now:

If not no worries i will offer it later this week or next

I am a CNC Mill programmer by day, but in the evening after I like to play around on the manual lathes. They are just large engine lathes that most machine shops have with a tooling block, and tail stock. I basically just face off the part, turn the outside diameter to a smooth finish, bring in the tail stock, center drill and drill the part, use a .063" cut off tool to cut the grooves ( those who get theres will see that they are not perfectly spaced, I just eyeball where I cut), and then cut the part off.....Repeat.
The lathes will thread so I suppose I could just pull a really long thread on the OD, and see what happens. I suppose it would be a spiral pattern. I will give it a go tomorrow afternoon and post a picture of the results.

Can I come work with you? I have a small machine shop (by small I mean I have a Bridgeport, a press, a hot tank and a break and I work alone), I do small orders sub-contracting for other larger shops but I don't have time, or money to play around like I'd like. And I don't have a lathe.

I'll be watching for the spiral bead, hopefully I can get it.

I seriously wonder what percentage of Bladeforums traffic is going to this thread, haha.

OK everyone here's my 10-11pm EST giveaway! (yeah I posted it a little early)

Let me start by saying that this is not something that I don't use that sits around and collects dust. I've used this thing every weekend for the last year or so. It really simplified my sharpening routine. It works great and I hope whoever get it uses it at least as well as I did. Here's the details...

On the block is a Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener (known as WSKTS). For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's basically a portable sanding belt system that allows you to easily sharpen your blades at preset angles. AKA no frustration! I bought it brand new off Amazon a little over a year ago. You won't get the original box as I threw it away however you get everything that came in the box, which is pictured. The sharpener itself, the 2 angle attachments (one is on it in the pic), the user guide and 2 bags of belts. The one bag of belts has been used by me to sharpen maybe 15 times. The other bag of belts has been used maybe once? Now please read how to be eligible to win this below.

To win this sharpener you must answer the following question - what is the combined age of all the members of my family? This includes myself, my wife and our three daughters. Sorry no hints. So for example if you thought I was 100, my wife was 90, and our kids were 65, 70 & 75 years old then your guess would be 400 (100 + 90 + 65 + 70 + 75)

DO NOT POST YOUR GUESS IN THIS THREAD! It will just waste a bunch of valuable space. If you want a chance to win, please email me your guess. My email address is my user name @gmail.com
At 11:00pm EST I will check my e-mails and find the person who got it right (or closest) and post the winner here. If there happens to be a tie I will have a tiebreaker question.

I hope that's all clear! Good luck! Here's a pic of the sharpener & accessories...

Yeah no problem. I'm not sure of life expectancy on diamond stones but they'll be great to practice with. Can't put an edge pro in your pocket! Lol. Shoot an email with your name and address to my gmail.

SWEET GIVEAWAY MAN! Thank you for your participation. I have a work sharp that I use on my shovel and axe. They also work well for large choppers too.

If the dead prints are not all gone, I would love one. Haven't even clicked on pics. You pick if more than one left. I was up in the air on 1st custom to buy but Sniperbladeworks got the order. Check out their tangstamp if you are not familar with them. Great knives by the way... In the spirit of this extremely cool thread, I will put up a like new skelatool no box just carried in work backpack.

Rbicln, email me your address and you get both, they are a pair anyway :) One is Bob Weir, the other Jerry Garcia.
