We've had more opportunity and less actual abuse than any mod policed sub-forum I've ever seen!
Self governance is the king of all governance.

I've enjoyed reading every post on all 50+ pages, even though I haven't taken yet and my offering is still in limbo. Speaking of which I'm still getting a list of more stuff together.

Anyone in need of a 30rd or 10rd AR15 mag? Also the Enlan EL-01 is still sitting here in its box waiting.

pm'd

Thanks

Well, if that's how you're going to be, guess I'll just send RemyKaze some old socks instead of my AWESOME gift. Since you out-awesomed me (apparently).

Ok, seems all is well, goodness restored. RemyKaze, in honor of post 1,000 to this AMAZING thread, please select any of the following, all of which i was going to offer eventually anyway:

A36E8F67-E5BD-4B2F-BD25-20D0412AADCA-2923-0000031FE86D5B8C_zps164ad34d.jpg

And no nothing else can be claimed yet, doing this just 'cause i want to ;)

I would love another mag, I only have a couple. (30's are still legal here)

That Braveheart looks pretty awesome. I have learned my lesson and won't say no. But I will participate in the gifting of the 2000th poster! Thanks for the kind thoughts guys. Whetstone, I think you may have my address.

Old socks have some great uses....well I can't think of any offhand, but I'm sure Bear Grylls could!

I'd love the 10rd please! PM sent!

Yep, enjoy it!

I think the gerber is called the I-bought-this-at-the-Watertown-South-Dakota-Walmart-and-lost-it-till-recently-model, or at least that is what I call it :)

Raindog, didn't mean anything by it, just looking to restore some positivity. I'll take the socks! ;)

Cereal_killer, it looks like the membership came through, correct? My finances allow me to do that every few weeks or so if i brown bag it more often (which i should do anyway), so it is not the last membership i would like to offer to you crazy people

Well, good night all.

I do have to tell you that I'm on the lookout for a short fixed for my wifey. She loves my mini-Canadian, but it's the first grown up knife I ever got; so, she has user rights only.

But I've enjoyed giving more than receiving. I've done both in this life, and trust me, that's right on. Thank you for the opportunity to be a blessing!

Im putting up a Buck 450 lockback made in USA half serrated with a thumb stud. I have owned it for a long time 10-15 years but it is not used so time for a new home.

those are surprisingly tough knives. years ago I beat the living crap outta one on a daily basis at work ...cutting masonry bags and the straps that bind cubes of brick and its still solid with no play whatsoever and locks up tight.

If the dead prints are not all gone, I would love one. Haven't even clicked on pics. You pick if more than one left. I was up in the air on 1st custom to buy but Sniperbladeworks got the order. Check out their tangstamp if you are not familar with them. Great knives by the way... In the spirit of this extremely cool thread, I will put up a like new skelatool no box just carried in work backpack.

Yeah this one is rock solid. I think I must have some mall ninja in me because I like the pocket clip and this has none.

I'm usually not one for beads and lanyards (even tho I make lanyards and stuff) but I've seen the pics in this thread of your work and I've love to have a bead of yours. I will be watching for them.

Does your lathe do threading? Could you do a spiral?

I am a CNC Mill programmer by day, but in the evening after I like to play around on the manual lathes. They are just large engine lathes that most machine shops have with a tooling block, and tail stock. I basically just face off the part, turn the outside diameter to a smooth finish, bring in the tail stock, center drill and drill the part, use a .063" cut off tool to cut the grooves ( those who get theres will see that they are not perfectly spaced, I just eyeball where I cut), and then cut the part off.....Repeat.
The lathes will thread so I suppose I could just pull a really long thread on the OD, and see what happens. I suppose it would be a spiral pattern. I will give it a go tomorrow afternoon and post a picture of the results.
