Since this is going so well, I've got another goodie up for grabs:


A Stephen Fowler handmade Bushcraft knife. I spoke with Stephen when I first got the knife a few years ago to verify its authenticity. Sent him pics, and he verified it was one of his earlier models. It's a wicked sharp, nice weighty knife with a heavy duty sheath. It's perfect in it's imperfection. It has a little patina, hand stamped FOWLER on the spine. A great knife and a fine example of a great knifemaker's early work.

Anybody else wanna see some knife companies join in??? Agreed though this thread is awesome.
 
OK, here are a few things I've had in my "give away to friends in need" bag. Vic Hunter, Vic Pioneer (gone), 2 LMF sporks, and an Ultrafire charger for RCR123s (gone). OK, that last item I just had sitting around in a back drawer since I got my new one, but it works great and I'd like it to have a new home.

ETA: I just went back and reviewed the thread. Man it's been whizzing right along, hasn't it. I remember I was part of the initial Pay It Forward thread, so I'm very glad to see this one resurrected. I also love the knife content thus far. BK11's, 3V customs, Fowler knives? You gotta be kidding me. I might have more stuff to post up, but I'll have to open up a few boxes and sort some stuff out. So keep checking back, y'all!

Great thread and great idea.
I can't believe I didn't find it until after the BK11 was spoken for...
No matter. I have a couple things to offer up:

Once I remove it from my trunk this weekend, I'll have an NHT 1259 12 inch bass driver. It's in great shape, and offers very musical low frequencies. It just requires a 3 cubic foot enclosure, and I need my trunk space back.
There's a bunch of info online about this speaker, but if you want more details I'll offer what I can.

Also, my first fixed blade knife:

It's the Western jobbie in the middle. Includes the sheath. It's in good shape, and has hardly been used. Carbon steel, but I'm not sure which one. I did polish off a 20 year old natural patina in my stupidity one day, then added a vinegar one a month later when I (sort of) realized what I had done. Also convex sharpened on a WSKTS.
I've had it since I was about 9 years old, but was never able to carry it. Now I always choose to use something else. If you have a knife newbie who would appreciate, and use, it - or if it'll fill a void in your rotation and you'll put it to use, post here and it's yours.

I got a simmons blazer red dot scope, 42mm.

Nothing high end in optics, but it is great for a .22, or even an AR-15. comes with one batt. ready to mount.

If a knife co wants to join in, that would be awesome. In their defense, most of them do give away some sweet stuff already, and plus they fix and replace all the damaged goods we abuse and call it 'warranty' replacement. I hold no ire for them if they don't join in.

tjswarbrick, your first knife since you were nine? That is sweet! Someone needs to snatch up that beauty and pay it the respect it deserves by continuing the love!

I'd like to claim the charger if it's still available.
I'll post my GAW stuff when I get home.
 
Here's what I have.
An Otter Messer folder (zippo not included) I love this knife, and it has been a faithful friend on days where I wear jeans too tight to accomodate a large folder. But given the generosity put forth in this thread, it can go to a new home. Someone who will carry it, and love it.

Also, Shelby extrication gloves are still up. Size Medium. Lightly used. Kevlar lined palms. They are just taking up space in my drawers. I'm not a firefighter anymore, so I have no real use for them. I will give them a wash before I send them out.
