The one Busse that you will never ever sell!!

For me it's not just a single one but of course the most important one is my BURP that Garth and Jerry brought over to me - my very first new, from the compound, Busse blade. Moments like that leave a mark you can't forget and that I still remember it like it was yesterday. I have plenty more bigger, cooler and arguably better looking, but none of them will ever mean as much personally.
It's funny how each and every one has such special moments to it. I always posted on my FB each time I got a new one and you know how FB throws those "old memories" up? I saw where I had posted up the "Silent Knight" this last week from a couple years ago - Man, there again, what a beaut! That one will also never part my stash. Over the weekend I used 3 different blades for different things and there's just something that hits me every time I grab one that rings a bell kind of, really strange how that is.
I also have a surprise coming soon, can't wait to share it! it's going to be AWESOME!

I have a bunch I’d never sell, but i suppose if it came all the way down to it I’d never sell the one that started it all for me. My trusty Basic 9.

That thing is extremely well loved and full of character.

I only have (2) SYKCO's so far.....so it's not difficult keeping them. haha.
I did think about letting my 1311 go when I first got it. It was barely used when i purchased it, and I knew I could get a fair price for it.... I was a little unimpressed with it's smaller size. Underwhelmed.

Boy was I Wrong!
I decided to use it to see what it's like?
I have all kinds of Choppers, but for two weekends in a row I've hacked up everything I could find.
Easily chopping DEEP into dried hardwood branches and logs. It's moved up into one of my favorite Choppers now

Now, I'm kinda Angry that this isn't a regularly available knife. Very angry
WTF is wrong with you Busse Corp?
Make More of These.

*please.
;)

Im a new forum member from Sydney Australia, down Andy the Aussies way.

Seen a bunch of andys pics while looking up ASH1 threads. Which look dope.

Also found this link which seems to be solely Andy posts

Another Aussie Hog!! :thumbsup::cool:

I'm in SE NSW, so not too far away.

People will have trouble believing it, but there are in fact ASH1s located within Andy the Aussie Andy the Aussie 's 'gravitational range' that have not yet been pilfered by him. And Andy is not nearly as secretive as he thinks he is!! All you have to do is let go of your tight grip on your ASH. After a while it will start to levitate, and then you only have to watch which direction it begins to drift through the air in. Like a compass it will tell you his location at all times!! I have it on good authority that this is why Andy always wears a helmet in public, because those unattended ASH's can build up quite a bit of speed by the time they reach him. :D

No I don't. Are you looking for leather or kydex etc ? There are options available out here.

I've yet to sell a knife. Went a little crazy over the last couple of months ... today Busse/SRat #10 will arrive.

RMD 3
TGULB 2
MRMD 1
UF 1
JH 1
TB 1
HR2 1

So there. Done with Busse for a while :)

I'm gonna cheat and pic one from each of the Busse companies
1) Scrapyard MO 911
2) Busse DSSF
3) Swamp Rat Taz Rat
All have been reprofiled by Josh...they can cut!
Also the 911 and the DSSF are the two most well balanced knives I have ever owned, the Basic 11
is close, but the old Basic Res-C handles are not my favorite in use.

My back-up pick would be my Battle Grade TG
I fell in love with the idea of a topless Gemini after Al-Sheikh's "No Gemini" thread.
It was my first blade sent to Josh he took the top and reprofiled the blade. It is
C-O-M-F-Y in hand and in use. Unlike Al I kept the bottom guard and I'm glad I did.
Both removed looks more slick. but I want that protection when using.

Hey Andy, do you know any credible Recommended Knive sharpening Services who do Busse & Kin in Sydney, alot of the sharpener services I asked only do Kitchen knives, they said they generally don't do any other kinds of nices, because they don't want to get an "aggressive" reputation :eek::eek:

Dave makes GREAT kydex sheaths.....I ummmmm have "a few".

TGLB I think is the one. The Ratmandu is definitely one that I would have no reason to sell. RMD is a must have. I won’t sell my last three RMD. Infidu, Infimandu, Ratmandu, all are keepers. But they could be replaced with other knives in a pinch. There would be no need to do this, but it could be done. However the TGLB is irreplaceable. Pick up your TGLB and you know you hold something special. Something that cannot be replaced by any other knife.
