The one knife you can't put away

M21-04.
if it gets confiscated or lost, i can order another one without any trouble. its nice and simple, reliable, with a large drop point plain blade suitable for everyday tasks and eating - as opposed to many 'tactical' blade shapes which work absolutely horribly on kitchen type work.
im also addicted to the carson flipper, it works unbelievably well for something so simple. plus, i always get a kick out of flipping a knife this big - the blade pops out in a split second with a loud snap, makes the sheeple jump :)
its a big knife, yet the design makes it very lightweight and carryable, i hardly notice its there.

cheers,
-gabriel

At the moment it is my personally modified BenchMade 420 Resistor that I put a Wave mod on.

Love it and can't stop playing with it. It was hard enough to not play with this knife to begin with because the axis lock is so smooth but now it is driving my wife knuts. :D

I'm not sure I have one that I'm that wild about
y'know, I actually have the same view... I mean, I like my knives, but I don't know that I'm ferociously fond of any single one... of course, I have a total of 3 EDC folders and 4 fixed blades, 2 of which I made myself... hmmm... I need to make and buy more knives, I s'pose! :o :D

My Severtech auto, I just can't leave the house without it. :D

When I have fly, which is often and international, I'll throw in a BM 710 M2, at least if it is "borrowed" from my bags it can easily replaced.

I have several knives that are near-constant companions, but the one that wins the record for staying in my pocket the longest is my Victorinox SAK (Soldier model). Nine months and counting...

This knife gets all the beater work and keeps coming back for more :)

It's always the MicroTech L.C.C..

It does food, it does heavy cutting, it zips through about anything with the S20V combo blade. What a great blade steel!

Leatherman Charge is also always along for the ride anymore too.

spyderco Endura. i retired my old one a couple of months ago after 16yrs of use. now my new one is always with me.

on weekends it seems to be the spyderco Manix that always ends up in my pocket :D

For me it's my Darrel Ralph Madd Maxx 4" recurve in Talonite. I prefer slightly larger folders and I have carried a Sifu, Maxx Bowie, or Aftermath for years. ...but I keep finding an excuse to carry the Madd Maxx as well.

At the moment I'm carrying it in my left pocket with the clip mounted tip-up so I can "wave" it into a reverse grip with my weak hand.

The one I use the most would be my Benchmade 425. I use it everyday as a letter opener and box unpacker. If I choose to, it has the power for heavier work, too. I like that versatility.

I also enjoy using the Wharncliff blade - very accurate. This is a smooth, strong and dependable knife.

It would definitely be the one I'd miss the most.

Spyderco Delica, FRN, Full Serrated. It is my only left pocket EDC, and I'm using it more and more for most of my jobs. It's just perfect.

BM 710hs - seems to do everything better than everything else. It's the knife I compare the rest to, and that's why the rest collect dust.

Even with all my cool high tech knives my '76 Case 32048 slimline trapper keeps calling me back. If not it then my '73 6318HE stockman.

The knife I can't bring myself to leave at home is my TAD Strider SnG. My Sebbies have been gathering dust since I got it.
