The one knife you can't put away

My old Puma-Prospector 667 Folder. I have over 200 knives but this is the only thing I inherited from my late Dad and every time I peel an apple or cut the cheese I see him as he used to do it. Would you believe I get the best edge on that knife out of them all.
He was 40 years in Australian Infantry and I still see him sitting up in Army Hospital bed ,his last resting place, sharpening this knife as if he was going hunting. I never knew him not to carry a knife plus lots of military swords and bayonets.
Funny how a knife can mean so much...anyone else feel similar?
...By the way this is my first ever post to your forum. Hoo Roo from Oz.

My CRKT Kasper seems to end up with me almost constantly. It happens to be a size that I like and is a very smooth opener. Not far behind is my 2 Dot Buck 110 when I'm headed outdoors. Until I got the Kasper, it was a Spyderco Wayne Goddard Jr. daily for about the last 9 years.

Not including our ever-present SAKs, I'm stuck like glue to my Spyderco Dragonfly at work or a BM 805 TSEK when in blue jeans. Both seem to be perfect for me; wife loves her Rainbow Leek.

2 knives I can't kick (and I tried):

- large wood inlay sebbie

- chinook II

There was a time I carried both at the same time.

My Benchmade 722 plain edge keeps finding its way back into my pocket no matter what I buy.....sometimes it seems that knife chose me!

Microtech LCC has been in my pocket for the past 5 years.

It is about the best knife I ever had. In fact it IS. But I don't have a large Sebbie (yet), so the quest isn't completely over I guess! :D

My Bark River Mini-Canadian is my constant companion. When in the woods it has to share duty with a variety of other knives but it is there nonetheless.

Busse Basic 7 and Spyderco Military, but at the end of the day - if I had to choose one - it would be the Busse.

My old Spyderco Endura. It's been modified, sharpened ,used not abused, and it just fits my hand and pocket so well.tom.

I’ve carried a CRKT M16-14 Special Forces everyday for over 2 years. I usually buy a new knife every couple months but after a day or so of carrying the new knife I always go back to the wonderful M16-14SF Big Dog.

EDC is generally a Spyderco Centofante III

Great knife, and if I loose it, i'll just buy another one. For $45 its just a crazy good value.

My Old Timer "Sharpfinger" has been a off and on companion for the last 20 years. It isn't a folder, but it has never let me down. At work (used every day) or at home. Although it is starting to show quite a bit of wear it is still a sweet little drop point!

Production SnG and SMF. I've got custom Striders but I've already got the two production models broke in and I don't cry when I put a scratch in the blade finish. I play with a RG Recurve SMF when I watch tv though, just opening and closing the blade to wear the finish off under the washers. Seems like it's getting smoother though.
