The bullseye lanyard hole from Andy Roy at Fiddleback Forge is my vote for innovative design - instantly recognizable as a FF knife and looks cool, too. :)

It's a swing lock the scales rotate around the pivot 360° from locked closed to locked open, I'm looking for the instruction sheet, I know there's a copy somewhere either on BFC or the web somewhere.

How are we doing on that?
 
Some really good ones so far. I'll add the Emerson Wave. I actually hate waves on knives personally but I think it's a great design and definitely worthy of commendation.

 
I think IKBS is a pretty substantial design/improvement.
