...It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken,
Perhaps they're better left unsung.
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air.
Ripple in still water,
When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow...
Just got the Ripple, I've never had a knife with bearings before, back in the 80s there was a custom maker who made a knife using needle bearings in a cage, IIRC this was an extremely expensive knife due to the amount of precision machining and hand fitting that went into the final assembly.
I knew then that a knife with bearings would be out of my price range, fast forward to more recent years and the invention IKBS, (Ikoma Korth Bearing System). If you'd like to learn more about it click the following link

Well to get to the point today the CRKT Ripple that I had won in Mike's giveaway in the OP here arrived in the mail, what a great feeling knife I've carried custom folders by the likes of Crawford, and Cover, production knives from Reeves, Benchmade (Axis) and William Henry so I'm no stranger to buttery smooth actions.
This system is a home run although if you live in a non knife friendly state/city this may not be the knife for you but it is for me.

I can't wait to disassemble and take some pics to post so I can share it with the members of BFC.
Thanks again Mike, this knife is gonna be sharing space in my pocket with my Case Sow Belly, Sebenza and Spyderco Mini Dyad. Look for upcoming pics and review in another thread, I'll post some pics here as soon as I get a chance to take some.
