The Para 2, why?

Weird-looking... in the best way. Highly ergonomic design, made to incredibly tight tolerances (think Sebenza), the brilliant compression lock, tough-as-hell G10, flat blade grind makes it a superb slicer, outstanding S30V steel, open back for easy cleaning/light(er) weight, four-way clip. This is one of the best-designed knives available IMHO.

I always loved the look of the Sage 2 and Para 2. I was never a big fan of the Enduras or Delicas, but they seem to have a big following.
It's really hard to judge any spydie by a picture, you have to get them in hand to know what's going to work for you. I think my issue with the PM2 is the handle feels overly large compared to the blade length. It's still a very well built, well designed knife. It's just never going to be my first choice when it comes to Spydies.

I definitely understand. How do you like the Manix 2?

Didn't take the time to read the entire thread. As as light, easy to carry knife that simply cuts things there are none better. Is it my favorite, no. But for the price, there's none better.
