The Parliament Of The Olamic Owls Is Now In Session

If we weren’t laughing we’d be crying from all the money we spent 🤣

Although it IS our Patriotic duty to try and stimulate the economy...

It all depends. At some point in life, when you have enough stuff, you can sell old things to buy new things. I really haven't spent much in the way of new money on knives lately.

Once the pandemic was in high gear, I took stock of all the stuff I'd accumulated over the years. Amongst other things, I realized that I had a few guns that I didn't love and hadn't shot in several years. They were basically just safe weights for me. For other people though, it was the answer to their prayers. After the unconstitutionally requisite background checks, they were very happy to set up a lasting fund for new knives and other doodads. :)

But I love safe weights to and that is my dilemma.
So the problem is knives fit into that category also 😁
I think it might be time to upgrade safes and not knives 🤣

😁

Yeah but there comes a time when the question has to be asked: an antique rifle chambered for a cartridge that hasn't been manufactured in several decades or a fancy knife that can cut things now?

But I want both !😁
My original flintlocks, winchesters and colts won't be leaving my gun room for any new knife! Trade my Benelli for a Browning...not going to happen. Get rid of my 56 F100 for a new F150 makes no sense..I'm third generation owner of many of the guns....just my opinion.
Will buy new just for the fun of it.

"Each to their own notion.", said the old woman as she kissed the cow.
Family heirlooms are NEVER sold: they are passed down to the next generation.
I have treasures dating back to 1795; that helped my Family survive here...
How to you value something like that for sale?
I'll just keep them...

" Old men soon realize the mirage is just sand and sunshine." Licinius. I enjoyed the sand that slipped beneath my feet and see the sunshine in the new.
That hurt my brain!😁
