It's flat ground, as best I can tell. A hollow grind would be super slicey, but probably sacrifice a tad of strength, I'd think.

What's interesting about the Cutlass is that it's essentially very close to an extended version of the Sheepsfoot blade from the Whippersnapper, one of my absolute favorite blade shapes. They make a great pair!

Agreed..but have not carried Whipsnap much to appreciate yet.

Very nice. I do like that blade. It's like a brother to your frosted/ jeweled 247.

I think it's creating them that is half the appeal. This whip will be last one for awhile. Really need to branch out. Going to try G.Menchev in Bulgaria for slipjoint next.

Thank you. It originally had light blast bolsters and clip with satin blade. Looks a lot more homogenous now with the dark blast bolsters, blue clip and dark wash blade.
