I sure will! Welcome to the Pathfinder Club and becoming the 105th member, sd550! Over 40 years of 105 ownership is a testament to the Pathfinder's enduring design. Feel free to post a photo of your knives, if you want. Love to see them!I've had many 105's over the past 40 years and still have a couple, one of my favorite blades. Would you be so kind to sign me up for the club ?
Thanks.............sd550
Thanks TomBuck Pathfinder fans, we did it! Now the suspense as we wait to find out who will be the lucky winner of the Buck 105 Pathfinder. OH
Welcome to the Pathfinder Club, koreamarine! Thank you for your thoughts on the 105 and for your service to our country! You have a very collectable and desirable early Pathfinder. Did you buy it new or pick it up along the way?I have a 1960s model at home.... Most of us never thought much of having a "fighting" knife, as we were either issued a bayonet or a Ka-Bar style knife- if I had to fight that close without a rifle or pistol I would probably choose an entrenching tool. The Pathfinder is a handy size fixed blade one can use for a lot of chores which you can keep on your trouser belt, and not even think twice about it.
I have to look to see if it has a barrel nut or not. It has a flap sheath, an inverted "BUCK" without a USA or a model number, and the black handle is a little off-center. The SPA team at Buck told me that this was due to it being produced on old machinery.
I think it's pretty cool just as is, and I really like the 440C steel.
Consecutively.so what if new members want to join up? how ya gonna number them?
There is no such thing as bad publicity.also what if members try to sell their membership on the exchange like flippers?
The Board of Directors consists of all members. Calling a meeting to discuss these problems is a good idea. I'll send a memo to everyone to meet at your house on Thursday. If you could have dinner ready, that would be great.did you the President call the board of our club have a meeting to discuss these problems yet?![]()
Yes.also am I 53..is the president and Hoyt 1 and 2. does the president and Hoyt get numbered by alphabetical order too, or?
Be careful, jb, or I'll promote you to President and make you deal with unruly members.look just like a real club a member causing issues already......![]()
my favorite part is the which number am I and you throw out the yes....hilarious....made me spit out my coke i was drinkin this morning.Consecutively.

Yep, you are #53 unless we have a new enrollment or a current member "Likes" post #409 between now and High Noon, which could shift your number. Oh, and I'm not responsible for involuntary spitting.my favorite part is the which number am I and you throw out the yes....hilarious....made me spit out my coke i was drinkin this morning.
