Well, it took nearly 3 years to reach our membership goal of 105 members, but we did it! Thanks to everyone who posted and contributed to this great thread! Pathfinder Knife GAW is next. Same rules as before. Each member will be automatically assigned a number (1-105) that corresponds with your name placement on the alphabetized membership list. You do not get to pick your number and your assigned number is only eligible in the drawing if (and only if) you "Like" post #409 on page 21. The first eligible number that is selected by a random number generator wins a new, standard configuration, Buck 105 Pathfinder! This GAW is made possible through the generosity of Old Hunter! Many thanks to Bruce for his support of our club and the Buck Forum.

Good luck to everyone! Drawing will take place tomorrow at High Noon.

so what if new members want to join up? how ya gonna number them? also what if members try to sell their membership on the exchange like flippers? TAH did you the President call the board of our club have a meeting to discuss these problems yet?

also am I 53..is the president and Hoyt 1 and 2 or does #1 start with ace rimmer. does the president and Hoyt get numbered by alphabetical order too, or?

Most of us never thought much of having a "fighting" knife, as we were either issued a bayonet or a Ka-Bar style knife- if I had to fight that close without a rifle or pistol I would probably choose an entrenching tool. The Pathfinder is a handy size fixed blade one can use for a lot of chores which you can keep on your trouser belt, and not even think twice about it.

I have to look to see if it has a barrel nut or not. It has a flap sheath, an inverted "BUCK" without a USA or a model number, and the black handle is a little off-center. The SPA team at Buck told me that this was due to it being produced on old machinery.

I think it's pretty cool just as is, and I really like the 440C steel.

The Board of Directors consists of all members. Calling a meeting to discuss these problems is a good idea. I'll send a memo to everyone to meet at your house on Thursday. If you could have dinner ready, that would be great.
