Ok, I know this has been asked before. But I want to know what knife you consider the perfect or the best folder. The closest I've come to finding "the one" is a Spyderco paramilitary, kinda feeling some love for a Sog Aegis I recently purchased. So give me your opinion and I might have to buy a new blade. Thanks

My "perfect" knife would be the Kershaw Skyline. The blade length and shape are just right for my needs. The G-10 handles provide nice traction. The clip isn't funky and rides perfect for me in my RFP (tip-down). They also come in different colors. I want to make a FrankenSkyline and get an all blacked out one.

Right now at work, it's my Cryo. I fixed the blade wobble on my Mini-Recon, so that's going into the rotation, because I like the lock strength, and the handle shape.

Days off will find me with a Ripple 2, a Mini-Grip, my pimped Dogfish, a Crown II, or a Buck Nobleman if I want something more subdued. My Micro-Recon gets some pocket time when I want to travel light.

In the near future, I want to take a few cautious steps up the cost ladder, to a Ritter Mini-Grip and a Bradley Alias II.

Further out, it will eventually be one of Ray Laconico's knives. I'm going to limit myself to one, because that's a lot of cash!

I'd like to build a couple of my own, but my wife says that we need something called "groceries"....

The perfect modern folding knife for this guy is easily the Spyderco Delica 4. I love everything about it.

For my needs, the Delica 4 and the Mini Griptilian are about as perfect as it gets. Both of them have so many good things going for them, and hardly any negatives.

I have others in my rotation, but my hand naturally gravitates to one of these guys when I pick a knife out of the drawer to carry in the morning.

My perfect knife is the CRK Large Sebenza or Spyderco Chaparral.

Pretty sure my Caly 3 will be pretty perfect when I get it.

If you're looking for one knife for all around EDC, the Para 2 you have is a great choice.

But for me, for all around EDC, it's my Sebenza, Chaparral, Para 2, and my Spyderco Chokwe.

Another good one, if you like the whole "tactical hard use" type thing is the DPX HEST 2.0, just fits the hand like a glove, can handle anything you throw at it, and makes a good slicer too. And the steel is top notch.

I'm usually not one for folders, but I've been exceptionally impressed with the spyderco para2 and the crk sebbie.

Strider SnG, or Paramiltary 2- M390
For traditional I really like my gunstock Case with ATS34 blades. All of these feel great in the hand while cutting and are easy to carry.

my Sebenza 25 is probably close to perfect, havent found any real flaws. otherwise i would say Hinderer XM-18 3.5, it just fits med like a glove

Don't know if there is one, but I carry a Spyderco Military the most.

I'd say a few that I like, but I like new, quality, innovation, new technology in knives I buy. I use a Para-2 mostly though.

With so many options it really comes down to your taste in knives, and what the task at hand is, and what your looking for a knife to do , I carry anything from emerson , to a spyderco gayle bradley, CS recon 1 , and when the mailman runs a southard flipper , as far as the "best" goes" It's a matter of opinion. I have 4 that get about equal pocket time the recon 1, emerson cqc-7 , spyderco manix 2 xl, and an emerson cqc-10. I carry the gayle bradley but try to keep it away from my job as I sweat a lot and I know I'll haft to keep the tuff glide on it , or if I miss the stuff glide I may be polishing it with some metal polish, as it's not stainless. All this may change if the mailman runs.

For me it is always the one I am buying next.
On another hand, if I couldn't buy knives any more: Benchmade 805 would be probably the one.
