As soon as it gets cool enough down here for us to have crystal clear skies, I'm going to put my new Olympus E-410 on a real good tri pod I got and aim it at the sky and see what I can capture! I'm going to try to get a longer cable that goes between the camera and my pc so I can sit at the pc and watch what appears/comes into view! I hope I can get some good shots of some who knows whats! Or maybe even some satellites like I got with my old Sony Mavica! That pic was taken hand held even and I still can't believe I got a pic a satellite in space!

No, that's actually Barney's. It's a lot like Slick's, though. We have a few of each around Houston. They're both pretty similar, but Slick Willie's takes better care of the tables. :thumbup:

A man-made waterfall down at the local park
Fooling around with a tilt-shift lens
A fisherman oblivious to me who stood still for this 4-second exposure. I guess he was in the zone... Too bad Galveston water is poo-brown.
A few from Seattle and Tacoma while I was supposed to be working LOL. I was up there for a couple of weeks and brought my wife with me.
This one is the Kemah Boardwalk. We were up on the deck of our friends' house. It's the second house from the rollercoaster, right on the water. Totally shweet.
Star trails out in Columbus, TX. I think this was a 45-minute exposure. The weird green glow on the trees was from a streetlight about 1/4 mile down the road.

hey! my parents live out there! they get hazelnuts all the time from one of the local farms :thumbup:
It could very well have been us a few years ago. When I lived at home, we used to run a little shop out of our garage. Since then, the place just down the road got rolling again and is doing the retail side of hazelnuts now.
Fond memories every time I get to help out with the harvest.
