I took this one while I was working in San Francisco. I decided to leave the big dog at home and only brought a small point-n-shoot and a Nikon FM2 with a 35mm f/2 and a 50mm f/1.4. This one was shot on Fuji Velvia 100 slide film with the 35 f/2. I took a bunch on some Tri-X 400, too. It was pretty fun going old school for a while. It makes you look at things differently.

I need to do a better scan on the slide, but you get the idea.... :D

i have decided after seeing this thread that film is too much work and i need a digital camera to accompany my film camera

I have only taken one good picture in my life. This is it. With my iPhone. Carmel, CA 17 Mile Drive.

Hey, mine was film and it was easy! :D

Shoot digital for a while and film will be fun and nostalgic. :D

I used to have a full pro digital set up that i sold last winter and never replaced and i still like shooting film more but for doing work for people digital is both faster for returns on pictures and easier to work with plus i hate tripping on flash cords:p

A couple I took at a park several years ago of eagles that cannot be released into the wild. Not the best photos, but I thought they turned out ok.

I'm in awe of the quality of work represented in this thread. I wouldn't dare post one of my pictures here. If I shoot enough frames I'm bound to get one or two that don't suck, but I've never taken any pictures that come close to the excellent work posted above.
