The PIX You've Been WAITING FOR!! ...Get READY...To SET...Your FACES...To STUNNED!!!!

Is this a collaboration with Strider? Can't tell, my eyes are not what they used to be....
BTW, Randucci did sell his Cubera, because a new folder was coming ;)

Based on pics I have seen of the Prior Folders (the Prototype folders..........multiple pics, which I may or may not have saved, but won't share out here in public because that was the stated desire of the Boss), it is neither a liner lock nor frame lock.

Now this does make me excited. I'm not a fan of framelocks. I like linerlocks. A totally different lock though is cause of excitement.

So this will be in production when? 14 days?

I'm not holdin' my breath on this one (too afraid it'll be another crazily limited Cubera)...

I don't know... I find myself only mildly interested too. Unlike Busse's fixed blades, there are plenty of expensive, well made, hard to obtain folders already out there. I can't see anything out doing my ZT0300. Especially not something with a spring loaded locking mechanism with 4X the parts. Sacrilegious... I know...

Nope...definitely not titanium! ;)

BTW, everyone please thank Eric for the great shots he took with his camera. :) Nice and clear, and in focus for close examination!
Thank you, Porkerson!! :D

That google link to that lock patent looks like a Blackie Collins bolt lock. I wonder if the Infi folder will use that.

ROCK ON, Bossman!!! :cool::thumbup::thumbup:[/CENTER]

Thank you so very much, Jerry! :)

And that handle looks like some synthetic bone/horn material based on the color variations throughout the handle scale. That...or someone left it in the oven too long!

Nope...convention center lighting reflecting off it. The pix on my camera aren't as good, but I'll check later to see if any worth posting show the handle w/o that reflection. :)

Ron's sporting press on nails now.;):p

I've got room for a Busse folder in the case.:thumbup:

Thanks for the update Jaxx.

Difficult to tell any details, but looks kind of small and tiny tiny pivot pin = weakness.

Hopefully the production one will have a huuuuuuge pivot pin and lock. Not to mention longer beefier blade with a guard of some kind on the choil (for finger protection in case of unlikely lock failure).

It's something I found ironic with the CRK Umnumzaan, it has a huge pivot pin, excellent lock design, but the steel itself and blade geometry was lacking. Sure you could beat on the knife, but the cutting edge and tip would fail way before the pivot pin would wear down at all. And no real guard in the handle /blade design. Also, it should've been a 4" blade, because it now duplicates the Large Sebenza.

Thanks for posting this, Jaxx, I meant to ask Jerry more about this.

I truly look forward to the day that I have the option of carrying an INFI folder...

BRING IT JERRY!

You're absolutely right... It's difficult to tell any details. That is, unless you saw the other side, which was something like a clear polycarbonate for the purpose of showing the inner workings of this functioning prototype. ;) There's more than meets the camera's eye. And besides...we're talking about JERRY BUSSE's folder here...do ya really think he'd make a weak one?;):D

HA! ...I hear ya, brother, but I SWEAR that if it IS a fake, then I AM the BIGGEST RUBE of you all. It's the real deal! There's a reason why I'm holding it the way I am and that...well, I can't say any more! ...But it IS the INFI FOLDER.

I can confirm. I got to touch it ... but not HOLD it.

Jaxx, you're a saint. And quite the talker ... to receive so signal an honor.

I've seen the inside. I'm not worried about a weak mechanism ... at all.
