The Practicality of Obese INFI

Probably a newbie question, but for the LE what exactly is a "full height flat grind" and how does it compare to the CG?
And hey, my BATAC LE has almost 400 combat hours flying over Iraq and Afghanistan. I find myself hoping we'll crash so I can pull it out and use it....

As far as the thickness Ialready have a custom so for me it makes no sense to buy the LE hich is basically the same knife without a G-Rex handle. I think the fatty is gonna be an amazing blade. Fat enough for heavy duty work of any description and wide enough blade to allow for an acute edge

According to Jerry, quoted below, they are both full height ground.

Here are the ASH 1 Specs. . . Note that the LE is the thinner one this time at .220" thick . . and the Combat Grade is the HOG at a whopping .320" thick!!!

Both are full height ground and both feel great in the hand! :thumbup:

I am leaning toward a CG in DCBB/Black mags, a CG in DCBB/tan mags, a couple of LEs and my HOG blade of course.

Those are nice choices. I wasn't sure whether to go for the black or the tan. I really would like a HOG blade but at the moment I am having a good deal of trouble justifying the expenditure. But damn the peer pressure is getting intense. I'm starting to wonder whether I should just pull the trigger and worry about raising the scratch when it matters. Decisions, Decisions

Yeah! That's it...I'll just get one of everything and decide which one I like the best!

I've read every post and I'm still not sure!!! The non-sterile LE will not get used ever, it'll go in the safe with the other LEs and the HOG knife will go on display somewhere, also never to be used. But damn it I need an user...I had my mind totally made up that if Jerry was going to offer a 5/16" ASH1 that I would make it my user. But now...good lord! Oh well....I'll figure it out, 3 ASH1s will be coming to my doorstep and one of them will be my user...that much is for sure!:thumbup:
