The thing with most collectibles is that they have times when they are hot and times when they are not.
If a significant number of collectors decide that the older 124s are hot.......they will be, mark my words.
But, 20 years from now they may be "not."
They'll still continue to go up in value at a fair rate anyhow......especially the mint ones.
