The return to SNARKdom

I hope there's a special place in hell for the f-tards that smash people's vehicle windows and rummage thru their stuff....arrgh

I've been lucky to never have had my windows smashed but there's been four times someone rummaged through my vehicle, three of those times items were taken and one of those times some of those items were sentimental or otherwise irreplaceable and of no value. Once I had to drive three hours home from Spokane, WA holding back the high/low beam selector because that was the only way the headlights would function because the scumbags smashed the plastic on the steering column and cut the headlight and horn wires for some reason. On an unlocked '85 Tercel wagon valued at maybe $800 at best. Northbound traffic didn't appreciate that.

Next vehicle I get is going to be a very large truck with a very sturdy and large push bar on it. I'm sick and tired of al the a**hole drivers out there with no regard for the lives of others on the road.

Coming home from picking up my kids from my parents place on the way out of the city the road merges into one lane. Every single time there is always that one person who has to gun it then cut in. I don't mind if there is enough room to get in, but this time the individual was driving beside us. The inched about two feet ahead of us then started merging over! Like... they didn't even need to shoulder check, just look beside them to see that we were there. The Ford Excursion bigger then my van just forced us into oncoming traffic! the guy coming in the opposite direction had to move into the shoulder! I'm still so pissed my hands are shaking. I'm in a minivan with children, what goes though the mind of people that makes them think that is ok? Worst part is... because nobody was hurt, if I then did what I _really_ wanted to do (get out and express my displeasure by beating them to a pulp, or disabling their vehicle so they couldn't do it to somebody else) I'd be the one in the wrong! Ya, I reported their licence plate, but I seriously doubt anything will come of it from the police. Maybe a call or a visit saying they got a report, but given the ignorance of the individual in question I doubt that would will do anything at all.

F***, I'm going for a smoke.

sorry for the rant, I was about to explode. I'm starting to cool down now. I found exactly what I want too... Its a complete front bumper replacement :) told the wife, no exceptions, I'm getting one.

Me and my friends used to make that A LOT when we were kids, with some pvc tubing and balloons. That was a lot of fun.
You can do the same with longer tubes, and duct tape them to a water soaker. We used to play soldier that way, with corn as our ammo. That still hurt like a mofo, but at least they weren't rocks or iron balls.

Curt, brother in law, got him one this morning... On his birthday too!! Good stuff.

Neko got to eat some of the yummy yummy while the Bird was cleaned too... Now he is running in circles looking for more lol

Now to grab the rods and see if i can't go catch that monster fish. I know he's waiting on me lol

Turkey season in Maine starts in May. Tell Curt that he is driving this Mainer nuts! Awesome bird too!

A friend at work mentioned his kid wanted a bayonet, I said, "Funny you should mention that!":D
Because I just got back my Camillus with a new sheath from De La Rosa Tactical Holsters (and sheaths) http://delarosatacticalholsters.com/

He liked the picture that I showed him, but he also agreed a smaller sheath knife would be more apropos. (Thinking swftly...) I suggested a BK-11 or maybe a BK-24. He liked the BK-11 idea. In fact, he liked it so much, he figured to get one for himself!!

Making proud new owners, one knife at a time... :)

I feel your pain. Here is my progress as of today. This project has been in the works for many, many days, more than I care to count. I have no intentions of calling out "Ramming Speed!", and delivering a decisive blow however. This is just a rolling work bench. One of our customers cut the driveway a bit too close and hooked the original bumper with his travel trailer a long time ago. So, he inadvertantly gave me a reason, but I was already planning it! :D

I still have much to do before I call it finished.

Nice bumper replacement! I was looking at a few of those yesterday :D started my research!

You're doing God's work, the cro-van God that is. Good man.

Been youtubing "Pvt Snafu". Damn, WWII propaganda was entertaining.

I've had a couple shells on pickups. In general I don't like them, having to crawl into inside to get stuff is kind of a pain. They do have their uses though.

I did like the fact that I could leave stuff locked in there during the day, plus i did camp in it a few times, but I thought it was time to try something new

I find an extended cab pickup is a pretty good compromise. Lots of internal space for storage but the older trucks before the suicide doors became a thing make getting to your stuff not super convenient. Cross bed storage boxes are also good, until you need to haul something long. There's always gonna be a time when you don't have an ideal setup, just gotta look at how you use your truck and hedge your bets I guess.

Had some soda that was made in Scotland but has a very American cow on the can.

Also I bought one of the sterile BK24s that Knifecenter has on sale. I couldn't resist long enough.

Got to use my E-nep for the first time this weekend. She's a wood processing machine. Chops like crazy:

Why's the flag upside down? Is the cow in distress?
