The return to SNARKdom

Why's the flag upside down? Is the cow in distress?

I dunno, the company's from Glasgow so either they might not know proper flag procedure or they're making a joke.

Either way, it was damn tasty soda

I did like the fact that I could leave stuff locked in there during the day, plus i did camp in it a few times, but I thought it was time to try something new

I find an extended cab pickup is a pretty good compromise. Lots of internal space for storage but the older trucks before the suicide doors became a thing make getting to your stuff not super convenient. Cross bed storage boxes are also good, until you need to haul something long. There's always gonna be a time when you don't have an ideal setup, just gotta look at how you use your truck and hedge your bets I guess.

I've got a knock off brand hard plastic tonneau cover on mine. I thought I wouldn't like it, but I love it. The times I've needed to not have it, it's been easy enough to remove. Especially now that the oldest son has gone through puberty and can lift more than 10 lbs without massive amounts of complaining.

So I guess snarking isn't a thing we do anymore. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

Glad it made a come back. Thought you were going to have to go it alone there for a while.

Got to use my E-nep for the first time this weekend. She's a wood processing machine. Chops like crazy:

We were both under the weather, but had a blast. Haven't been there in about 5 weeks or so.

This is your output when you're sick? Remind me not to get into a chopping competition with you.

I'd like to get one of the soft covers I can roll up. For those times when you weren't planning to haul anything but wound up needing to.

I'll snark with myself if I have to, but it's more fun with someone else.

The nice thing about the hard cover for us was that it could withstand growing children standing on it. But the convenience of the roll up soft one is awfully appealing.

As for the snarking with yourself, just don't post pics. It is a family friendly forum after all.

I love those soft covers. my plan for my next vehicle is a Toyota tacoma with the soft bed cover

I actually rather enjoy being a soft cover...

Although I don't have a truck so I don't HAVE a soft cover. :D

Hoss, I'll snark with ya!

Here's my 78 goldwing I've been playing with.

Actually since I finished my last two sheaths I've been spending time making this into a cafe style bike. Now that I'm outta parts to put on/take off I should get back to my leather work.

And here it is next to my 97 wide glide.

I woke up with a sore throat and cough last Wednesday. Went to work with it. Stayed home Thursday. Called in Friday, but there was nobody there to do my job, so I went in and made my deliveries, cold sweats and all. Said eff it, and went to the cabin that night. Figured I could be sick there just as easily as home. Throat is better, and no more sweats, but I still have a bad sinus problem, and a bad cough. I took a few breaks periodically when I was chopping. That's not all I chopped. I used some for the wood burner inside, as well as for a fire we had outside. You can tell the bottom stuff on that pile is older.

Wish him a Happy Birthday for me!

Good luck with the fishies!

He said Thanks bro!!

Daughter caught 4, Son caught 2, wife caught 1. I caught 4 also... But told my daughter i only caught 3... So she was the "winner" this time LOL
Turkey season in Maine starts in May. Tell Curt that he is driving this Mainer nuts! Awesome bird too!

Jeremy

HAHA!! But then you'll be hunting and his time will have past!!

He called one in for my father a couple weeks back, so my father got his first ever turkey kill, but i was teasing Curt he gave away the only bird of the season.... Since that he has been going every evening and morning he could to get HIS bird LOL

I ended up taking the camper shell off my truck yesterday day, I really like it this way

Looks better!!

Im not a fan of toppers... But in some cases they are just simply beyond badass.... Like this guys topper on his new Tacoma... Has a built on top shooting platform.... AND so so many more awesome mods as well... I wish i had his money LOL

Im waiting on this guy who is suppose to be developing a tool box that sits in the normal spot but then slides on the toyota bed rails to the back of the truck to access it easier or remove it. As it stands i wont put a box or bed cover on my truck because i dont want to lose bed space. Already have a small short bed.

I miss my long bed i know that... Large rods now have to go out the window or across the inside of the cab...

Looks like a sweet blade bro!!

What age did you have to wait till for this?? We were out fishing and my son says he is tired of holding his Gatorade bottle and asks me to hold it...... I told him "its your drink boy, you wanted it so you hold it".... He says, OK... Then he goes asks his momma to hold it, i look over and seen her holding it and walked right up, grabbed it, and threw it in the trash!!! You should of seen the look in his eyes!! I thought i was going to have to fight my son over that LOL

For heavy things it was after puberty and the arrival of his man muscles. Now he loves to show off how much he can lift.

For small things like a Gatorade bottle... Hopefully by the time he has children of his own.

hmmm...now that I'm logging on from a computer and paying attention for the first time in a while, I see that the latest Tapatalk update has decided to announce itself over and over.

Off to check the settings on my phone.

Edit: OK I think I fixed it.

I just ordered the new D2 RAT 1 from knifeworks. I have an old Esee branded one I bought a few years ago, so I'm definitely excited in the updated steel

They sell a D2 RAT 1? that's pretty cool, upgrading the steel is one of the things that would've made the RAT 1 even better, and they did it.
