There's no USA distribution, so whenever I get to Canada, I get a case or two. There's always a good reason to break out the Bräu! Here's to good friends...tonight is kinda special!
 
I just got my confirmation email from kabar. 6.8 lb of steel is on its way to me!!! Yay!!!
 
I'm not allowed to sell anything on BFC because I'm not a paid member. And it would have to be through the exchange anyway.
 
I didn't mean to cause any problems. You talked of selling it and then others threw bids out.

So apparently the 6th warning is when Comcast gets really pissed about downloading movies from bit torrent sites. I might actually have to believe them when they say last chance this time.

What are they gonna do Mauser? Cut you off? Not like you can't switch to a BETTER ISP.

Back in my "heydey" of downloading there was one week I got letters from Paramount, Warner Brothers, Comcast, and whatever the music "legislating body" is telling me to stop... That was when I started to slow down LOL!

haha That's a lot of letters. I have always got the letter in the past but this time was different. Comcast put a pop up on every computer in my house and it wouldn't go away until I logged in to their website and clicked something that said I am the person in charge of the account an I am aware that this is my final warning. Then it showed the last 5 warning I have got and the dates.


Comcast is the only fast internet available in my town. We have qwest that offers 30 meg but I have 100 meg downloads with Comcast and I dont want to lose that.

Maybe I should check around and see if any new options have become available lately, I would love to leave Comcast if I found someone as fast and reliable.
 
Ohhhhh... Snaps! They apparently have changed since I got out of the downloads game.

To be fair, when I stopped seeding torrents all my issues went away. So that may be an option as well.
 
I forget some of the buying selling rules on blade forums. Big Daddy Hoss is a good guy, I'm familiar with him from another site.

Well I think I just purchased one of the last new 4 BK15 knives I could find for sale from a dealer on the interwebs. I looked for several hours and paid what the current BK16 and BK17 are going for. Happy to get one though.

Worth it still. :thumbup: Glad you could find one. I had the thought of getting an etched user BK15 since both mine and my wife's BK15's are both roll stamped. I suppose I took them being everywhere for an awesome price for granted like I did the kitchen knives and I was surprised to see them nowhere or for a premium at above what the BK16's etc... are selling for.

Oh well... It looks like I'll have to "settle" for my roll stamped user. :D
 
As of 2 weeks ago, I had pared my Becker collection down to 2 of them: my clipped 15 and my beloved 9. My other Beckers got sold off, but it wasn't because I didn't like them, in fact it was the opposite; I liked them so much it hurt me to see them sitting unused while the 9 got all the work.

Well, thanks to the BK20, a Knifecenter sale, and the BeckerWest gathering, I now have a new 9 that I won, a 2 that I traded for, a sterile 24 that I got for cheap, and a 4/5/20 combo on the way.

I'm amazed at the speed which I attained all these knives, but I couldn't be happier. :)
