Can anyone explain the difference between "Awaiting fulfillment", and "Awaiting shipment"?

*Only gripe is the micarta. Will require light sanding. The black canvas also seems to have sealer on it.

Now it’s perfect.

The newer micarta seems to have some sort of light lacquer or coating on it.

I’ve owned prob close to 100 Busse knives and have never seen this type of micarta before. The canvas was always much more porous with an untreated textile feel. After use, your skin oils begin to patina the micarta slabs and such.

It’s been a while since I ordered new from Busse but have began to notice this inherit difference.

There is no “sealer” on the handles. The blades and handles are cleaned with WD-40 prior to shipping just to get the shop dust and buffing compound off. If you don’t like the oiled look you can wash with dish soap or acetone and you will be back to the dull dry handle look.

Awaiting fulfillment-blade is not complete and not prepped for shipping.
Awaiting shipment-Blade is complete and awaiting the big magical brown truck.
That’s my guess.
