The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Same here, but mine is still - awaiting shipment- .Still wondering how some of you got yours so soon..... I had my order placed within mere minutes of the sale going live and I'm still "awaiting fulfillment". Paid back on the 22nd too but some of you already had the knife in hand by then!
Perhaps it's because I got the satin finish? I see no one else has posted that they have one so I'll have to post pics whenever mine comes in. Evidently it's not a very popular finish but man, it sure looks good to me! Too bad it scratches so easily I hear.
I imagine the first round that went out were the pre-made ones that matched customer orders.Still wondering how some of you got yours so soon..... Good plan!Rent the movie 'RENT' for the evening and buy the INFI.... PROBLEM SOLVED... eviction takes time anyways and you'll live through it with your Mistress. LIFE IS GOOD!
What did you use for the belt loops on this sheath? This thing is absolutely beautiful.

Yeahh Garth had mentioned the satin was hand applied so probably why those with come out a little later.I ordered 2 the morning after the listing appeared on the Busse site. One in satin and the other in coated.
I have already received my black coated with green micarta. But the satin one is still saying "Awaiting fulfillment".
So I guess they are processing the satin in a separate batch, or maybe the process just flat out takes longer.
In no hurry though. They are worth the wait!
The satin finish on these is hand applied satin finish.
Very time consuming but well worth it to me. I just like shiny things I guess. The satin finished blades will not have machine marks.
My understanding (might be flawed... and blurred by single malt...) is that all blanks would be inspected and assesed into 3 categories.Yeahh Garth had mentioned the satin was hand applied so probably why those with come out a little later.
Nice ! Please post pics. I regret not ordering one in satin.I just got a -shipped- notice for my satin... I ordered within minutes of release.. paid a while back.
Nice. Mine will be here on Monday. I ordered the exact same thing. Do you have a picture?I received mine today, stone washed and maroon handle. Sweet knife!![]()
Same here, I put some obenaufs on there and it's dark maroon now, very cool knife. The thinner stock is nice as wellI received mine today, stone washed and maroon handle. Sweet knife!![]()
