I'm seriously considering picking one up, and kept thinking about stonewashed with black G10. However, I keep going back to the pic of the stonewashed and green/black G10.

In the product description for the Anorexic FBM is the following:

“NOTE: The Stone Washed and Satin Finish may have light machining marks.”

I’ve never seen this caveat in a listing for a Satin blade from Busse. Does this mean what’s being called “Satin” here is not the hand-applied satin of the past? Sounds more like Competition Finish?

This is something I noticed a while back and I believe I understand what this means. What I THINK changed is how they machine the blades has become very cutting edge and the surface finish left from the machines leaves only very minor surface imperfections. Likely enough to where it eliminates certain steps of progressing from lower grit belts to higher prior to finishing on Scotchbrite. If that is the case it would save time in production and allow for less expensive satin finishes which are 99.9% of what you'd get in the past. If I'm wrong and give the wrong idea, I aplogize, surely Jerry will step in if I'm spreading disinformation.
 
There’s no such caveat in the satin RAD listing currently on the Busse website.

Never owned a credit card. It's not about the money, it's do I really need 3 lol. The handle is not my favorite and I have so many others. I just like the bronze and black look.
